ANDY'S POV
The first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was hurry down to my dad's study. I clearly didn't know much about what had to be done regarding the Head Master of my coven, so I needed some guidance on what to do next. Walking in it was obvious that he was working; he had his reading glasses on and was typing ferociously on his computer in front of him. He didn't notice me standing in front of his desk till I cleared my throat.
"Hello Andrew, what is it?" He greeted, glancing up at me before returning his gaze back to his work. I sat down in one of the two chairs that were placed in front of his desks and studied one of my dad's many books before looking back at him.
"We have proof now." As I spoke those words, I immediately got all of his attention. He took his reading glasses off and closed his laptop.
"What exactly?" He asked.
"The guys, Alex, and I were hanging out last night and I got a text from Max." I started, digging my fingernails into the arm rest of the chair as I spoke that name. "It was a video. A first I was confused but when I played it...I saw that it was a video of him raping Alex." I cringed as the video played in my head. My father nodded is head, frowning a bit.
"Ah, I see. Well you're right. You do now have proof. Are you ready to make an appointment with the Head Master?" He asked. I nodded eagerly, ready to put that low life through so much pain, making him wish he never laid a finger on Alex. I could honestly say I was somewhat excited to kill him.
"Yes. The sooner the better." My dad laughed at my eagerness and nodded back to me.
"I'll make that my first priority. I know how badly you and, well, everyone want to give Max what he deserves, and I want Alex to not live in fear that he'll come back for her. He has done far too much to that poor girl, she deserves the ultimate revenge." He stated, his professional side coming out. I smiled at how badly he wanted this for Alex. We all did.
"Thank you." I said. My dad nodded, silently saying 'you're welcome'.
"Now, first things first. Was anyone else involved in the attack?" I nodded.
"Yes. Craig Mabbitt, I go to school with him too. He was the one recording."
"And do you have proof that it was him?" He asked. I thought back to the video, despite how badly I didn't want to. After a minute or so I nodded.
"You can hear his voice..uh..He asks Alex something. It's obvious that it's him." I stuttered. Alex's response to Craig's question was the last thing I saw in the video and one of the worst. I'd stay up at night sometimes just watching her sleep, her cries for me playing over and over in my head. It was driving me insane.
"Alright...Basically the next step is getting an appointment with the Head Master. He's a very busy man but I'm well known throughout our coven, as you know, so you shouldn't have a problem getting in touch with him very soon." He promised. I nodded and smiled, thankful that my father was so important to our coven. Who knows how long I'd have to wait if he wasn't?
"Then," He continued. "you'd have to bring in your evidence and show it to him. I know this will probably be hard for her but I do recommend you bring Alex. Just keep her safe, I know that area is full of vampires that aren't so respectful towards humans, especially female humans, so make sure she's by your side at all time. I'm serious Andy. If you lose her for even a second, something could go horribly wrong." He warned, giving me a stern look meaning he was serious.
"I got it, I won't let anything happen to her. You know that." I reassured him. He nodded then sighed before speaking again.
"She can be an eye witness and it'll be good on your part if the victim is there to testify." I chuckled, getting a confused look from my father.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing. This just seems a lot like court." I shrugged my shoulders.
"It kind of is, Andrew. There will be other people there that work for the Head Master to help him in making his decision...I don't think you have anything to worry about, though. Everything seems to be in order and i'm sure your proof, although i'd prefer not to see it, is good evidence." He said.
"How long will it take for him to give me an answer?" I asked, hoping it won't be too long.
"4 or 5 days...Week tops. It all depends on how good you made your case; how good your evidence is. If all is in order and there isn't much to think about, he may just give you your answer in one meeting." He explained before putting his reading glasses back on. "That's pretty much it Andrew so go explain everything to Alex and let me do my work." My dad ordered. I nodded and got up, lingering at the door to his study.
"Dad?" I spoke up once more, leaning on the door frame.
"Yes?" He questioned as he looked up from his computer which he was feverishly typing at again.
"Thank you." He smiled and nodded.
"I know how much you love her, there's no need to thank me. She's apart of the family now; she deserves nothing but happiness." I nodded in response and left without another word.

@Red Phoenix77 i wrote this back when i was about 13 (im 18 now) but i assume that my thought process was that vampires weren't undead, they were very much alive. also, i was very inexperienced when writing this story so i didn't put too much thought into things. maybe i'll re-write it one day! :)
