I Swear I'll Never Let You Die

"What?" I said, feeling Dani's hand latch onto my necklace.

"Jay, please. The song is about you, and you can sing so well! It would mean so much to me if you would do this." He said, walking over to me.

"A-Andy I don't sing in front of people anymore." I shook my head.

"But Jay..." He stuck his lower lip out and I sighed.

"You don't understand." I said, rubbing my hands through Dani's hair.

"Then help me understand." He said, rubbing my shoulder.

I glanced over his shoulder at CC and John. I didn't really want them knowing. Andy must have sensed this so he took Dani from me and handed her to CC.

He took my hand and led me outside of the building. "What happened babe?" He asked, sitting down on the ground and pulling me on his lap. I sat silent for a few minutes watching him light a cigarette.

"When I was in high school back in Virginia, I used to sing all the time. In fact, I liked it better than dance. I played the guitar, piano, and drums. One day, I entered the talent show at school and I sang an original song of mine. I was booed. Afterwards some girls found me and then beat me up. But it was worse than that. I went to the emergency room because they hurt me so bad. After that I vowed to never sing for anyone again. I only just started singing to Dani." I explained. He looked up at me with sad eyes.

"I'm so sorry, Jasey." He frowned. "I hate that, that happened to you."

"It sucked." I said, running a hand through my hair.

"But wouldn't it be amazing if you guested on a track with me and showed them all how rad you can sing!?" He exclaimed.

"Andy.." I sighed.

"Please Jasey? Just do one take and see what happens." He said. rubbing my arms. I leaned my head on his shoulder and shrugged.

"Whatever." I said.

"Come on." He said, throwing his fag on the ground and stomping it out. He stood up and pulled he with him.

We walked back inside, and to the studio. "So Jasey?" John raised his eyebrow.

"I'll do it." I mumbled, taking my baby back from CC. Andy smiled and took her from me. He kissed me quickly.

"You know the lyrics right?" He asked.

"Yeah." I nodded, walking inside the booth. I took a look at the sheet music and put the headphones on. Andy's voice filled my ears and I smiled. Maybe this wouldnt be so bad.

I know Juliet sings on Lost It All but for the sake of this story it's Jasey. Cool? Cool haha.
