I Swear I'll Never Let You Die

"Kelsey?" Andy yelled as we walked inside our house.

"Back here!" I heard a muffled voice say from back in Danielle's room. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards there.

Once we got in her room I felt my breath catch in my throat as I saw Kelsey leaning over Danielle's crib. "Hey guys." She said. Andy rubbed her temple and blew out a sigh. He walked over to the crib and picked Dani up. She looked tired and she was still shivering. "She hasn't thrown up since I called you guys.."

"Thank you Kelsey." I nodded and felt her forehead.

"Anytime Mrs. Biersack, I hope she feels better." The young girl smiled.

"Me too, bye now." I smiled, softly as she left the room.

"Oh Dani.." Andy whispered, running his fingers through her hair. She looked so pale, and it made me nervous. I couldn't handle another loss. I just couldn't do it..

"I-I don't even know what to do." I shook my head. "The pediatrician is closed and-"

"Call my mom. Please?" He asked, looking up at me, nervously.

"Yeah." I said, walking to our living room and grabbing the home phone. I dialed her number and waited for her to pick up.

"Hey honey, how are you guys doing?" Amy asked, probably thinking it was Andy.

"Uh it's me, Amy." I said, tears coming to my eyes.

"Jasey? You usually call me on Wednesday's, what's up?" She asked and I chuckled a bit, feeling the tears push past my lids.

"Danielle is sick and we really don't know what to do.." I shook my head.

"Oh dear, uh pediatricians is closed. Patient First. Their open twenty four hours. Thats the best you can do right now. Don't freak out, this is the first time she's sick and it's scary but you need to be okay. She's going to be okay." She said and I sighed, thankfully we had Amy to help us through everything.

"Okay, thank you Amy. So much." I said.

"No problem, sweetheart. Keep me updated, please. Also, you know how Andy gets under stress. Keep him calm, only you can." She said.

"I will, bye." I said.

"Bye Hun." She said, hanging up the phone. I walked back to Andy who was sitting in the rocking chair in the corner, his eyebrows furrowed. His hair was growing out a bit longer now in sort of a mullet but it looked great. Danielle had fallen asleep in his arms and he was running his finger across her cheek.

"Your mom says Patient First is the best we can do." I said, running my hand through my hair. He looked up at me and nodded.

"Well let's go then." He said, standing up and starting to put her in her carrier.

Honestly, I wasn't worried for how I was going to handle this.

I was worried for Andy.
