Happy Little Pill

The time was nearing nine thirty and Andy had disappeared to go get ready to sing. I stood at a table, alone, and wishing I was doing something else. I brought a cup of vodka up to my lips and took a drink. It wasn't really strong, because I asked for vodka and fruit punch, it's amazing.

"Aren't you Sadee Christian?" I heard someone ask me. I turned my head and saw a girl no older than seventeen, wearing a beat up Black Veil Brides shirt and a pair of black jeans.

"Um, yeah, why?" I asked.

"You're helping Andy write songs, right?" She asked. I nodded and swished my drink around in the cup.

"Can I get your autograph?" She asked. I gave her a look as she held out a poster of Black Veil Brides.

"Oh, I'm not famous, I just write songs," I said.

"Did you write the song The Day You Left?" She asked. Now I was getting worried. How did she know about that song?

"How do you know about that song?" I asked shifting my stance to a more conservative one.

"It's on iTunes, it has like 100,000 downloads," she said. What?

"Oh, well, yeah, I wrote and sang that song, but I'm not famous," I tried reassuring her.

"I know, but I love the song and I listen to it a lot. It would mean the world to me if you could sign this," she held the poster out more to me and the sharpie. Wow, I have a fan? I grabbed the sharpie and signed the poster. She smiled really big and then cleared her throat.

"And another question. An innocent one," she started.

"Go ahead," I said.

"Are you and Andy dating?" She asked. My eyes got wide and I coughed.

"Um, where did you hear that?" I asked.

"There are pictures of you two all over instagram and tumblr," she said.

"I'm sorry, what?" I almost spit out my drink.

"Yeah, I think you guys are cute," she said as she pulled out her phone and showed me some of the posts. A lot of the pictures were when me and Andy were still friends, like when we were standing outside the label building and Andy was smoking. Others were when we went to lunch with my mom, and a couple were the two of us goofing off at the beach like two weeks ago.

"Um, we're, um, it's complicated," I blurted and she smiled.

"But Andy and Juliet are done for?" She asked.

"That I can confirm," I chuckled. Shit.

"Wait, please don't say anything, Andy doesn't want people knowing him and Juliet aren't together anymore," I said.

"Of course, that's fine. It was nice meeting you Sadee," she said and walked away. Holy shit, what the hell just happened? As I stood there in shock, the lights went down and Andy appeared on stage.

"Hello everyone! It is awesome to be here, even thought it's not really a gig. But anyways, I want to thank all of the fans in here for voting for us, now we have a nomination for another Kerrang! award. This first song is In The End," he said and the song started. I stood at the table and watched them carefully. Andy was bouncing around on stage and looking at everyone he could. He was getting into the song and it made me smile. Then his eyes landed on me. An even bigger smile came across his eyes and face and he ended the song.

"Alright, I'm sorry, before we continue, I want someone to come up here. Sadee, get your ass up here," he said. I gave him a look before starting to walk up there. What the hell is he planning? As I got closer to the stage he was smiling more and more. The fan I talked to was near the front and she was smiling something severe. I was helped up on stage and stood next to Andy.

"What do you want?" I whispered to him.

"Everyone, I know about the rumors on tumblr, as I always do. And I just want to clear a few things up. Me and Juliet are no longer together, so yes, you can hate on her," he paused to smile. "But, this beautiful woman here is why I am so happy right now."

"Andy," I warned.

"She's being shy. But, yes me and Sadee are in a relationship and I am happy with her, so please do not hate on her," he said and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. The fan I talked to was jumping up and down and smiling at us. There was something about her that seemed so familiar.

"Okay, I'm getting off stage," I told him and people helped me down. Andy went on to sing Fallen Angels, Rebel Love Song, Lost It All, New Years Day, and Wretched and Divine. When he finished, which was around eleven, he came and found me at the table.

"Hey," he smiled and hugged me.

"Ew, you are all sweaty," I giggled and he kissed the side of my face.

"I know you are probably pissed at me for revealing us, but I wanted to before Bryan did," he said.

"As long as it was one of us that confirmed it, I don't care," I reached up and kissed his cheek.

"That was awesome Andy," their manager said and high fived Andy.

"Thanks, Jon. I hope you don't mind that I said that about me and Sadee," he said as he wrapped his arm around my waist

"I don't care, because you guys, you two specifically, are getting so much positive attention on twitter right now, it's crazy," he smiled.

"Really? Well then," Andy smiled and kissed the top of my head.

"What else is there planned for tonight?" I asked Jon.

"Well, we have a small meet and greet for the fans, then we are delivering the official nomination to you guys, then it's free time for the band and family to eat till their stomach explodes, and drink till they can't function," Jon was still smiling.

"Alright, can I be in the meet and greet?" I asked.

"Why?" Jon asked.

"Because there was this fan earlier who came up to me and asked for my autograph, because apparently my song was put on iTunes and there are over 100,000 downloads," I said.

"Seriously?" Andy asked.

"Seriously," I said.

"Um, yeah, you can sit at the end next to Andy," he said. I smiled and did a little dance. Jon walked away and I looked up at Andy.

"Did you release my song?" I asked.

"No, I know how much you didn't want that. But your mom is the new label head, she probably did," he said. For fucks sake.

"I need to talk to that woman," I muttered and Andy smirked.

"So, tonight, we should have sex," he said bluntly. I chuckled and looked at him.

"Sure," I said. He smirked more and we both walked down into the middle of the room towards the table. CC and Jake were sitting at the table, getting ready for the m&g. Andy and I sat down on the chairs and I bounced like an excited child. To be honest, I'm not that mad about my song being out there, especially when it got that many downloads. Andy put his hand on my knee to calm it down.

"Excited much?" He asked with a smile.

"A little," I smiled and then the other members of the band sat down and we got to the m&g. It went well, a lot of the fans were happy to get my autograph, and talk to me. Then that one fan came through and when she stopped at me she got a big smile on her face.

"Can I please get a picture with you?" She asked.

"Of course dear," I said and got out of my chair quickly and handed Andy the girls phone. He took the picture and I sat back down.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Rayna," she said.

"It was nice to meet you," I smiled and she walked away. As the night wore on more and the m&g finished I was happy to be done. There were only like 100 fans there, but man, they are all so demanding, just kidding.

"Hello everyone, can I have your attention?" I heard from the stage. I looked up there and saw Jon standing there. Andy had wrapped his arms around my waist and had his chin on top of my head. Yes, I am that short. My heels are four inch heels, and I'm still shorter than him.

"I would like to formally announce, right now, that Black Veil Brides have been nominated for two Kerrang! awards. Best band and best song, In The End," he said. We all cheered and I leaned my head back and looked at him before kissing him quickly. It was awkward because of the position, but it was still special. I am so happy we can live our lives freely and not in secret.

Second one tonight, you're welcome. But, we met a fan, who will have importance later in the story, and yeah. But Sadee's song is doing well on iTunes and she has a fan! Oh and Andy confirmed their relationship to everyone! And I had to put Bryan Stars in, I just had to. Hope you liked it!!!!!
