Falling In Jake's Arms

We sat there for five minutes. I finally got up and started looking through my closet to find a dress but none of them look to pretty enough to wear out tonight. “Hello, can you help me please? I know i’m not alone!” I teased. “Okay okay I’m coming.” She said as she chuckled. We looked and looked and I only found one that looked presentable. It was a rainbow strapless dress with an open corset back. “Awww, look. Do you remember when you gave me this for my twenty second birthday? I only used it once. I hope it still fits me.” It had all the colors I liked from the lightest shade of yellow to the deepest purple. I didn’t even know I still had it. “Oh yeah. You only used it on your ex-boyfriend. Jimmy.” I don’t like to remember my ex-boyfriends. Even Jimmy. He was the one who got me into drugs. “Ugh don’t remind me about any of them especially that asshole. I going to put it on. okay.” She nodded. I took a quick shower and put my dress. I went over to the mirror and pulled out my makeup bag. I knew that black eyeshadow wouldn’t cut it this time so I went deeper into the bag and pulled out some glistening Rainbow eyeshadow. As soon as I finished priming my eyes and finished adding the Rainbow eyeshadow I pulled out my mascara and eyeliner. After I finished with the mascara I pulled the tips of the eyeliner into a sharp cats eye. “Almost done!” I yelled to Miranda from the bathroom. I hurried up and applied some of my favorite BVB lipstick in red. I grabbed my curling iron and curled my tips. Wow this is taking longer than I thought it would. I grabbed my phone and purse. “I’m done.” I said to Miranda before opening the door slow and steadily afraid of what she might say.
“Wow. You look great!” Miranda said. “Why thank you.” I smiled. The bedroom door opened. It was Ronnie. “Wow. You look great!.” I smiled “You’re the second person to say that.” I chuckled. Everyone came in and almost simultaneously their jaws dropped. It was 7:50 pm. Ten more minutes left till Jake comes. The door from the bus opened and I only got a glimpse of Jake wearing his tux before I realized I haven’t put on my rainbow converse yet. I ran back and slipped then on along with some perfume. Right as I stood up Jake walked in the door. “Oh, my, god, Aurora. you look so freaking burning hot!” Jake pulled me into a tight hug. “Are you ready?” He asked.” I nodded. We walked out of the door and Jake brought me over to his car. “Take care of her!” Ronnie yelled from the bus door. We both rolled our eyes. He held open the door for me. As soon as I got he looked at me one last time before shutting it and getting into his side. “Here we go.”
