Falling In Jake's Arms

Jake’s POV
I couldn’t believe what I had just done. I don’t like seeing her like this. I have to do something. I know it’s hard to cope with losing someone you love, but you can’t just be sad for the rest of your life. You have to work passed it. You have to be able to thrive off the sadness. It can only make you better. I started to think about ways to cheer Aurora up. I thought back to the moment when Aurora was just staring into a store window. She had a large grin on her face. As I got closer to the object of her obsession the scene started to fog up. Obscuring my vision. I was so close now yet so far. All I could think about was making Aurora happy and with that the fog cleared. It was a necklace!
I woke from my trance and ran to my money drawer. I think I have enough. I hope it will cheer her up.
I ran to the store and looked through the window. “They still have it!” I went inside the store and talked to the bouncy bernet at the cash register. She went over and grabbed the necklace. “Is this the one you wanted sir?” she asked almost questioning my decision. It was a bit pricy but I would do anything to see Aurora happy again. I nodded and with that she went back to her post at the register. “ Would you like this gift wrapped sir? It’s no charge.” I stood there blankly for a moment trying think of the right words finally I just said “ Yes please.” About five minutes later she came back out holding a small box wrapped with black shining wrapping paper and held together with a glittering silver ribbon. “Will that be all?” She said already knowing my answer as she wrung up the necklace. I handed her the money and with that I was off. I really hope this will cheer her up. As I hurried down the street I saw some BVB fans. I tried to hid but it was too late. They saw me. I ran to the car and drove off. I felt bad about abandoning my fans like that but I had no choice. I had something else that I had to do.
I finally arrived at the FIR bus and knocked on the door. C.C answered the door and let me in. “Jake your finally here!” he said almost cheerfully “Who’s the gift for?” asked Jinxx as C.C nodded showing that he wanted to know too. “This is for Aurora, I bought it hoping it will cheer her up.” Almost on cue Ronnie showed up. He brought led me to Aurora’s Room. “Lets see if it works.” he said still with a pained look on his face. I knocked the door. There was no answer so I slowly turned the knob. “Aurora?”
(End Of Jakes POV)
My dreams were now nightmares. Plagued with thoughts and memories of my parents accident. The thoughts that unsettled me the most were the ones about Jake. “Why did he bring me to his mother’s grave? Did he know that my parents graves were in the same cemetery?” Then I heard a knock. I slowly rose from my slumber. I cleared my face of all the tears I had shed earlier. “Aurora?” I heard him call again as he slowly opened the door. “Aurora, I bought you this.” He said in an almost shaking voice voice. “What is this?” I said still in a little bit of pissy mood. “Just open it.” I slowly removed the glittering ribbon then pulled the top off the box. My mood changed in an instant. “Oh my god! How do you know I wanted this?” I asked him. “I have my secrets.” He said in an almost sly tone “But why?” “Because I love. Isn’t that reason enough?” I started to cry. Not tears of sorrow but of joy. I pulled him into a deep embrace. He lowered his lips and pressed them into mine. I pulled him even closer deepening the kiss. Ronnie saw us but he didn’t mind. “Holy shit! I look like a mess.” Everybody came into my room. “It’s alright. Get ready because tonight you’re going out with me.” said Jake smiled. “So at what time?” I asked him. “Eight” so I have three hours to get ready. “Okay I’ll call you when I am ready.” He nodded. Everyone left. The only one that stayed behind was Miranda.
