~Charlie~

"Ashley, this is my mother Amber." He nodded.
"Hello Mrs. Faith." He greeted smiling at her.
"Who in the hell are you, and why are with my daughter?" I groaned she had to do this?
'I'm Ashley Purdy, I had a little accident in my college, they want me in here until tomorrow." I felt slight panic until I remembered he would be bringing me with him.
"Whatever. Charlotte, we need to talk. Alone."
"Ash can stay. What is it?"
"I can't afford to keep you. I've asked the doctors, they're cutting you off tomorrow night, in your sleep."
"What?!" I heard Ashley shouting at her, I knew something bad had happened, but I couldn't focus.
She was cutting me off. Like some horrible leech sucking off of her life.
I guess I was, I'd been nothing but trouble since I was born.
Maybe I shouldn't let Ashley change me, I'd only be a burden to him.
"No.' I whispered, barley audible. Ashley suddenly stopped, looking at me, he seemed horrified.
'See? She's nothing but trouble." With that my mom left.

'Charlie? Should I call a doctor?"
"No, it's just depression." She whispered. She looked pale and ready to pass out. I climbed into her bed and held her against my chest.
