After the guys left it was just me and Charlie, who decided she wanted to watch a movie before she had to go into another surgery today. When the nurse brought my lunch I heard her stomach growl, and knew she couldn't eat, but had eaten breakfast.
"How come you never eat much?"
"My body isn't strong enough to support large meals." Oh. Yet another thing the poor baby was missing out on.
"So.. look... if I said there's a way to stop you needed all this, but it was.... hard to believe...."
"I'd be open to it."
"Do you believe in magic? Like vampires, proxies-"
"Yeah. Especially werewolves. I think it's awesome." I could've kissed her.
"What if I said I could make you a werewolf?"
"I'd say when." Just then the doctor came in to take her to surgery, and I called Andy.
"Sup?"
"She's in."
"Cool, when are we doing it?"
"Three nights from now."
"Why so late?"
"Her m's visiting, she'll be able to say good bye, and then when she's in her death sleep everyone will just think it was about time."
"Alright." I hung up and waited for Charlie.
