You broke me but got me back up *COMPLETED*

-3 weeks later-


Michael and I were supposed to meet up after Sophia’s graduation party. She had it at our place so Michael dragged me out from the crowd to our backyard. I didn’t really know what he wanted to talk about, but I guess I should listen. We did start talking a week ago but… we weren’t friends.

“I wanted to talk about something…”

I looked at him and thought about what he wanted to tell me.

“What’s wrong? What happened?” I asked.

He stepped closer to me and actually had some regret in his eyes.

“I… I’m sorry. I’m sorry about what happened back then. I know I have been saying ‘I’m sorry’ for days but I really mean it. And I want to be your friend. I don’t want us to be in a bad relationship. Can we please… um… can we be friends again?” he asked me nicely.

I nodded but asked him something.
“Just friends and nothing else, right? ‘Cause I have had enough drama in my seventeen’s years.”

He laughed and nodded: “Yeah, of course. By the way, why did you lied to Andy? It hurt him a lot, I think…”

I made a sad face and answered him.

“I just… I don’t know. But, I know he’ll be better without me there. I know it.”
Michael pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. But I promise you, there was no spark hehe… I don’t like him in a boyfriend way. He’s just a close friend. That’s all.

I know I hurt Andy. He’s a tough guy so it won’t get to him that hard… I think.



~Andy’s POV


I got in my house and slammed the door behind me, grabbing a beer from the fridge. I threw myself on the couch and couldn’t stop thinking about the words that came out of her mouth.

“And I love someone else”

“Why am I even bothering myself with her? She’s nothing anymore. I thought she’d wait for me and now she’s not even going to talk. She loves someone else. I hope he makes her happier than I did.”
