You broke me but got me back up *COMPLETED*

~Sophia’s POV

Someone knocked at our door and I saw something that seemed to be a letter when I opened the door. I picked it up and of course, I read it. But it was meant for my baby sis.

She wasn’t here and I had to read it, of course.

Dear Kaycee.

I need to tell you that I’d like to see you one day again. I’m sorry I just hung up on you on Skype. I was just shocked about your decision. You could’ve talked to me… can we please meet at 5 PM at school’s parking lot? Please?

This was my chance to talk with him and probably get him to help me. Help us. Help us find my sister. Yeah, well I wasn’t able to wait and I was excited too much.

-Meanwhile at Jessica's-

Kaycee’s POV~

“I still didn’t get my answer.”

Callie was sweating. It was like she had something really important to tell me. Something that mattered too much.

“I… well… I think we should wait for Jessica. She has to know too…”

She started. And thank god, Jessica was right in time for this. I couldn’t wait much longer.

“Is there something that you need to tell us, mom?” Jess asked.

She nodded and well, Jessica sat beside me, as Callie asked her to.

“Uh… this could be weird or something… but I need to say it, right? Well… the locket you have… and the key I have… are a perfect match. You haven’t been able to open it for 12 years and probably you forgot what’s in there. It’s a picture of you. And the woman is someone we all know,” she started.

I was confused again. What could she possibly be? Is she something related to me? Unless…

“What’s going on mom? You’re scaring me out,” Jess said.

“Can you please just say it? We’re both scared about what it is…” I mumbled.

She held each other’s hands and said: “You two are related. Blood related. Not friendship, but blood. I’m your mother.”

Both Jessica and I were… we gasped. We looked at eachother and then look at… ‘mom’. Then I remembered about my terrors.

“Wait… but… how? W-Who are then the people I live with? Is Sophia even my sister?” I asked.

“They aren’t Mr. and Mrs. Maywood. They are Mr. and Mrs. Black. Yes, Sophia is your sister. Biologically. Which makes all three of you sisters. I know… I’m surprised too… and you’re wondering why I’m alive, because you saw me getting killed. Your so called parents were the one who tried to kill me. But they didn’t know you had a twin daughter…”

My mind stopped thinking and I was lost in time. Everything was a puzzle which I had to put together. It was weird for me. Everything was.

“Y-You’re the woman from my dreams! You’re Callie! You’re… oh my god…. You’re the one who… YOU’RE MY MOM! YOU’RE MY MOM! OH MY GOSH!”

Jess hugged me and we found out we had same interests and we were both born on the same date.

I found my real family!

Sophia’s POV


I was at the parking lot and Andy came. Alone.

“Sophia?” he asked.

I nodded and looked at him.

“Where’s Kaycee? Sophia, what happened to her?”

He was worried as much as I was.

“She’s gone. She has been missing for almost 2 days. We have no idea where she is…”
I almost cried.

“Why? W-What happened to my girl?!”

“YOUR GIRL?! You dumped her through a Skype call! And Michael is the one who’s guilty! He kissed her! She was crying when she saw the pictures of you two on her laptop! The last one was of you two kissing on the grass and she was crying! Michael kissed her, thinking she feels the same. But man, you made her feel guilty… she wasn’t herself!”

He dropped a tear and offered to help on the search. I’m glad he at least cares about her. At LEAST.

“I’ll help. I’ll help you find her. I’ll do anything I can.”

Wait, did he say he’ll help? He’ll help!!!

“Thank you so much, Andy… thank you for being here for both of us. Me and my baby girl,” I said crying.

I took him over to my house and we called Kaycee. She picked up her phone after so many hours of worrying.

“Hello?”

“Kaycee! You’re alive! Oh my gosh, why did you leave?! Mom and dad don’t know yet so please get back! I don’t want to keep lying!” I screamed.

“Um, you mean Mr. and Mrs. Maywood? Uh, Sophia, I… we need to talk. I’ll be there in 20, ok? Love you.”

She hung up on me again. But she is going to come back home, right?

-Skipping on-

Kaycee’s POV~

“Sophia, I’m here!” I said as I opened the door. I walked to the living room with mom and Jessica. I can’t believe we’re related!

“KAYCEE!” Sophia shouted and gave me a huge hug. Jason was there with… Michael… and Ty was here… wait, TY?!

“Ty?! Ty what are you doing here?! I thought I’ll never see you again,” I said giving him a hug. He was the best boyfriend for Sophia. But… she kinda did something… she’ll tell you one day.

“I helped Sophia on her search for you. Don’t EVER do that again. She was worried sick,” he said.

I sat down and so did everyone else. Something made me think that we weren’t alone in the house.

“I want to tell you about someone,” I started. They all gave attention to me and Jess.

“Sophia, this is our sister and our mom… I know I’m surprised too…”

Sophia looked at Callie and Jess, thinking this was some kind of a joke.

“Uh, are you ok? Jessica isn’t our sister. And this isn’t our mom. Our mom is-”

“Right here,” I cut her off, showing her my locket.

“T-That’s the locket you can’t open! I have the exact same one!”

I show them my own locket and we realize this is our mom. That is her.

“I still don’t believe you… um… can we talk about this when mom and dad come? Don’t understand me wrong, but I really don’t believe you,” Sophia said.

My own sister doesn’t believe me. Would I be making this up?

“Look, I am really tired and I want to take this things upstairs to my room so I’m going. I’ll be right back,” I said.

Everyone started to smile and it looked like there was something they’re hiding.
I got to my room and when I opened the door…









Andy was sitting on my bed waiting for me.



“Kaycee?”

“A-A-Andy?!” I actually shouted, not asked.

He ran to me and hugged me so tight I thought he was going to kill me.

“Kaycee, I was so worried about you babe… I thought something bad happened to you!”

Inside, I felt like I should kiss him and return a hug, but the other side told me that he should suffer from everything he’s caused me. I turned my head away and tried not to look into his blue eyes.

“Babe, what’s wrong? Aren’t you happy you’re home? With people who love you?”

My wrist wanted to slap him so hard! I was almost doing it, but I couldn’t hurt him that way…

“No! They don’t love me! Only Sophia does! You don’t love me! You broke up with my because of a baby and instead of being there for me, you just ran off leaving me worried! But I got over it and we’re through! I don’t want to deal with you anymore,” I yelled. “I don’t want you to pretend that you love me because you don’t! And… And… And…” I stopped. I was about to lie to him right in his face about something I’d regret saying.

“And I love someone else!”

He backed off and turned around, leaving me in tears. I lied to him. I argued with him. I made him feel… bad. And I made myself feel bad. This was just too much!

“Y-You love someone else? Al-Alright… I get it… I guess I was just wasting my time trying to find you and tell you how much I love you. I guess I was wrong. Maybe I don’t love you,” he mumbled.

Tears were getting harder and harder as I just looked at him and he was about to leave my room, until he stopped at the door and I told him one more thing.

“I stopped loving you weeks ago. I knew you weren’t going to ever contact me again. I knew that you will never come back for me. I hate you.”

He slammed the door behind me making me jump in tears. I ran to my bed and cried like a baby, leaning my head to the edge of the bed. I heard a car driving away from our street and I knew it was Andy. Everyone rushed upstairs asking me what happened.

“Shhh… don’t cry baby. Can you please tell me what happened? I think I can help you. A real mother can help with anything. Please, tell me…”

I nodded and took a deep breath. After explaining her the whole situation I burst into crying again. Mom hugged me and gave me feel a bit ‘better’. Even though I regretted lying to Andy. I miss him yet I want to kill him.

Let me tell you something first. I know that in movies or series people just run away when they find out that the people they live with, aren’t their trued parents. But I have had senses about that. And I am glad that Caroline aka Callie is my mom. Because I have never thought of mom to be a mom.

“Why are you here? Who’s the girl downstairs with Sophia?! And you should leave my baby alone!” she said, pulling me into a hug.

“Let me go! Don’t touch me Mrs. Black!”

“Patricia! What’s going on?!” dad shouted.

Dad’s real name is Bradley Black. Oh, BB.

“Kaycee, pack your stuff. And Sophia’s. We’re leaving,” Callie said.

“Mom, no… I won’t let you die like you could’ve when I was 5! No way I’m letting you!” I screamed/whispered.

The other mom, Patricia, she tried to fight back and argue on but we seemed to get out of the house. Callie had a warrant. Guess she thought about this already.

At her house we had to clean up the room which before years, became a storage room. We cleaned it up and it became my new bedroom. And Sophia’s. There were two beds so we share a room. Although, we should all be in the same room.

Sophia is trying to figure everything out and get it together before freaking out of confusion.
Andy and I well… we… we… I lied to him and it still hurts me. But I try to keep strong and I try to make everyone’s life better. Andy doesn’t deserve me. He doesn’t. I’m sure. I know.
