Make A Wish

I have been paranoid ever since I saw Ashley. Everywhere I go I look around me. If Ashley was here, then the others must have been here too. Maybe their on tour? Who knows, but I can't stop getting nervous.

"Crystal we're going out today." Carmen told me.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We're just going for a coffee and maybe dinner. I don't want to be home all day." she said.

I nodded, "Ok, sounds good. I'll start getting ready."

"Yea me too."

We were in Starbucks, I was wearing black tights with a black skirt over them. Some cute high heel ankle boots. With a black and white stripped shirt and a gray unbotten coat over it. I let my blonde hair flow down in curls with a gray beanie. I had the natural make up look. I held my handbag on my right arm and my coffee on my left.

Carmen and I began walking down the street. Again I kept looking at my surroundings but saw no one.

"Oh my god James!" Carmen scremed. She ran to him, her light brown hair flowing gracefully. She took James in a quick hug. "Crystal come here." she waved me over. "I didn't introduce you guys last week, Crystal this is James, and James this is my best friend Crystal."

I turned to look at James, "Hello." He said in deep British accent.

"He's from England." Carmen showed off.

"Hi James, nice to meet you." I smiled at him. Where have I seen him!

'I'm sorry, but have we meet? Your face is really familier." he asked me.

"I'm thinking the same thing." I told him.

"You guys know eachother?" Carmen asked.

"I guess." We both said.

"This is going to kill me!" He laughed.

"Me too. What do you do James?" I asked him.

"I'm in a band." he answered, but Carmen interupted.

"He's in a band called Asking Alexandria. He plays drums and is amazing! But the singing is very, heavy." she smiled.

OH SHIT! My heart stopped.

"That's were its from! My, uhm, old friend use to listen to you guys. You're hair is a little bit different though." I told him.

"But how do I know you?"

"You probably saw me at a concert, I went with her once."

My life was all a big lie now. Nothing I said was true.

"No it's..." he was cut off by his phone. "Oh yea I'm here with a few friends. Carmen and Crystal." he said into the phone.

"I don't know... But that's weird...OK! OK! I will..." he looked at me, "Parden the question, but what's your last name?" he asked me.

"Hernandez." I answered. Who was he talking to? And why did they need my last name?

"Hernandez" He reapted into the phone, "You are a creeper, blue eyes, long blond hair, tall, thin," He was describing me! 'Sorry' he mouthed at me. WHO WAS HE TALKING TO!

"Andy I'm not going to ask that!" he scremed into the phone.

Andy? He was talking to Andy!

"I have to run. Sorry guys bye." I said, but Carmen held on to me.

"What's going on Crystal?" she whispered.

"Ok I'll ask!" James screamed into the phone, "I'm sorry, but do you by any chance know a girl named Stacy Hocken?" he asked.

My heart melted. You could tell by the look in my face, that I got sad.

"She got sad." he told Andy. "It's who?... By the corner of Starbucks and Pizza Hut... Yea right down the street from where we were." he told the phone.

"Carmen let me go! I have to go now!" I screamed.

"No Crystal what is going on?" she asked again.

"Sorry about this Crystal." James told me and hugged me.

"No! Let me go! Stop!" I kicked him in his area, and threw Carmen on to him. I bent over for my purse and when I looked up I saw Andy running down the street.

And for the first time in five years, we made eye contact. Right before I darted off! I ran as fast as my legs could take me, pushing people, shouting 'excuse me' and 'sorry' and everyone.

"Don't look back!" I said to myself, but I did. And sure enough Andy was right behind me.

"Fuck! Taxi!" I screamed as loud as I could. About four of them stopped and I got in the closest one.

"Take me downtown!" I said out of breath. I turned and looked for Andy but didn't see him.

"Eva!" I heard a scream and a slam on the window.

"Go drive!" I yelled.

"What's going on? Get out of the cab!" The old man was scared, asumming Andy's makeup covered face was too much for him. I quickly slid to the other door, opened it and took off again. Andy again was right behind me.

I was out of breath and slowing down. Just give up my inner voice said. 'No! Never!" I screamed.

I then felt arms around me, picking me up. I tried to struggle out but couldn't. I then felt another pair of arms holding my hands down. I looked up into Jake's eyes.

"Stop Eva. Darling." I heard Sammi tell me.

"No! Let me go!" I scremed.

"People are looking." I heard her say.

I felt arms pick me up and hold me. I was to exhausted now. I couldn't struggle anymore.

"Andy put her down now." I hear Sammi order.

My feet were on the ground again, but those arms never let me go.

"Lets go home Eva." she said.

"I'm not Eva I don't know who you're talking about." I said.

"Crystal, lets go." she whispred.

"I don't know who you people are! This is an assult and if you don't let me go now I will press charges once I'm released." I yelled at them.

"Stop! Pretending Crystal!" Andy screamed.

"Who the hell are you! I don't know any of you..." the following words were so hard to say, "emo freaks! Let me go!"

Their faces dropped, I felt Andy's grasp loosen a little, but not enough for me to run.

"She's faking it. I know its you Eva. Plese baby, please." Andy whispred into my ear.

It sounded like he was crying, but I couldn't tell.

"Andy please let me go..." I whispered in tears.

"Oh my god Eva it is you..." he whispered and cuddled into my neck.

"Andy please...your making this harder on yourself. Just let me go before you get too attached again." I whispered back.

"Why does it matter I finally found you!" he kissed my neck.

"Don't. You did find me. Andy we can't be together. We just can't. Let me go so I can walk away and pretend this never happened." I pulled away, but his grip was tight.

"No! No you're not leaving me again! Never..." he kissed me again.

"Andy I have to. I can't make you happy." at this point I noticed that Jake and Sammi were gone.

Andy turned me around and put his lips on mine. It took every nerve to not kiss him back. When he finally realized I wouldn't give in he pulled away.

"Crystal?"

"Andy I told you. I don't want you anymore. I moved on and came here. I told you not to look for me! Why did you do it? Now I have to forget about you all over again, and you do too." I hated telling him this.

"I never forgot you Crystal! I've spent these past five years looking for you! I love you! More than my own life! You're my everything, and I need you." he kissed me again.

"Why are you doing this! You're hurting yourself! Andy I have to go now!" I pulled away from his grip.

Walking backwards not letting go of our eye contact. He stood there and watched leave. I stopped walking and looked at him.

What am I doing? I love him! I can't just leave him! I can't leave him again.

I ran back into his arms and cried on his shoulder. He held me there and for once in five years, I felt secure.

"Let's go home." he whispered.

I nodded my head.

And we walked back to my house, hand in hand.
