Things Aren't Always As They Seem

-Jinxx's P.O.V.-
It's been a week since Andilena had another spell and passed out. Andy and Juliet have flat out refused to leave her side since we got to the hospital. She still hasn't woken up yet, the doctors are worried she never will.

This is wrong. She looks so frail just laying there, hooked up to a million different machines. She stopped being able to breathe completely on her own yesterday. I sighed and walked out of her room, heading to the waiting area. Vic, Austin, the rest of BVB, and a couple other of her new best friends have been waiting anxiously for her awakening.

They looked up when they saw me, then away again as I shook my head. We were all hoping desperately that she'd wake up soon. I sat next to Ash with a heavy sigh.

"It seems like she's never gonna wake up again..." I trailed off sadly.

"Don't you dare say something like that. She'll wake up and be just fine. You'll see.. She just has to! I can't... I just can't lose her..." Vic said, everyone here for her nodding in agreement.

"Why hasn't she woken up yet?!" Austin exclaimed. "The doctors need to do their goddamned jobs and make her okay again."

I just nodded and leaned my head against the wall. It's been a long week, and I'm exhausted. I closed my eyes to try and get some rest.

~later that night, 3rd person P.O.V.~
The heart monitor started beeping frantically. Nurses flooded into the room, quickly ushering Andy and Juliet out.

"No! She's our daughter, please! Let us stay! She needs us, please!" they yelled, trying to go back in.

"Let us do our jobs. I'm sorry, but your going to have to stay here." the doctor said, before he ran into the room to try and resuscitate the poor girl in the bed.

Andy pulled Juliet against his chest, desperately trying to keep it together as they heard their daughter's heart flatline.

The doctor came out with a grim expression. After fifteen minutes of trying to save Andilena... She was gone. "I'm sorry." he said. "There's nothing more that I can do."

"No," Juliet sobbed, "She can't be dead!"

"I'm sorry." the doctor looked at them sympathetically, as if that could somehow ease their pain. "There's something you should know. Just before Andilena died, she woke up briefly. She said to tell everyone she loves them. Then she was gone."

"Thank you, doctor." Andy said stiffly, leading his girlfriend out to the waiting room.

Everyone looked up expectantly, with too much hope in their eyes for the young couple to bear. Nothing could prepare the group for the news they were about to get.
