-Andy's P.O.V.-
It's been almost a month since the funeral. Everyone's taking it pretty hard. It's like a constant gloom has settled over everyone who was lucky enough to have been touched by Andilena's presence.

Nothing will ever be the same. Though, I don't regret the decision to adopt Andilena. She's changed our lives forever, and I loved every moment we got to spend with her. The only regret I have is that we couldn't have more time.

We all thought she was getting better. We'd hoped so much that she'd be okay. But, at least she doesn't have to be in pain anymore. It's just not fair. Life's not fair, I know. But it's also just downright cruel. We just got her, now she's been ripped away from us forever.

She was only seventeen, and just barely at that. I don't know how any of us will ever get through this, at least not completely. However, life goes on, just like we have to.

But you never know what might happen. After all... Things Aren't Always As They Seem.
