Ashley's POV
My heart breaks as I run to her limp body. Blood is spilling freely from her cuts and I immediately rip my shirt off and wrap it tightly around her arm. I ignore everything as I lift her off the ground and head back to the house. I'm numb.., I can't believe I just let this happen... I take the first aid kit from Sydney and bandage the cuts. They've stop bleeding... Thank God! "Ashley?" Andy asks quietly, coming up behind me. I bow my head with tears in my eyes as he wraps his arms around me. "She'll be ok..." He whisper before withdrawing so I can move her into her bed. Sydney walks in, her head bowed and hugs me. "Can you stay with her Ashley? Last time she ripped off th bandages and tried to reopen the cuts..." Sydney says starting to shake. "I c-cant do it a-again..." She whispers and I pull her into a hug. Her wrists are lined with the same angry marks, older but their still there. CC walks past and I motion for him to come in. He immediately pulls Syd closer to him and she clings to him like a lifeline. As they walk out I turn back to Britni, she looks so innocent... But I know her past haunts her. I lay down next her slowly stroking her hair and wiping the blood off her face. She rolls over and snuggles into me, head resting on my chest. I sigh and wrap my arms around her. "S-sorry... I-it would be bet-better if I l-left..." She whispers opening her eyes. My heart shatters, she really thinks she needs to die? What about her band, what about Syd, what about me? "Britni listen to me... You are beautiful and perfect, you don't deserve to die. You shouldn't want to die." I say and she bursts out crying. I cling to her and she buries her head into my neck. "But I d-do.... I'm worthless...." She mumbles and I pick her head up so she's facing me. "Britni I love you. You aren't worthless. You have a band that's gonna be huge one day and friends that are like family. You are stubborn and tough and I love that. No girl I have ever met has been as gutsy as you." I say and she nods. "I'm sorry Ashley..." She whispers and I kiss her gently. "I'll get you through this ok?" I say and she nods closing her eyes and falling back asleep.
