Chapter five: Back to Black
Jake's parents were loving towards i and my older brother, even though we just came with a suitcase in one hand and a face expression telling them we are wayward orphans. Sucks to be us i guess, but Juliet had nerve to sue my brother, i was not sure if she was just obsessed with Andy or just messed up as shit.
"You okay?" i look up with a small smile towards my new roommate.
"I am super fantastic." i giggle biting the inside of my cheek. "Its not everyday this happen to me."
Jake burst from laughter crashing next to me on the bed. I am glad he is easing in into this friendship; shy still but he is comfortable around little old me. "Sarcasm?" he smirk.
"Wow," i laugh slapping his shoulder. "You are smart."
Jake's lush mouth turned thin. "I have to uh," he laughs shyly. "Shower." He stood up once again walking to the attach bathroom. i pulled myself up eyeing his room; its nice-i guess.
The door crack open as i see Andy with a large black sweatshirt, and slacks. "Its shreds me to see you cry Clarity." He walks up to me as i pull myself up to my feet.
"Its too much Andy." i trembled. "What is it that she wants? You?"
His beautiful blue eyes weary as mine. "I will figure something out."
"Andy are you going out?" i inquire with a smile, i glanced to the bathroom door licking my lips slowly. Jake... he is so sweet.
"I will be back soon," he whispers as i return my focus back to him. "Are we okay, you know on what happen earlier with physco Nell?"
I giggle and nodded. I bit my lower lip my heart beating against my rib cage, he must be feeling the weird tension; Juliet always thought that i had a crush on Andy, that is weird but like i said she is a crazy bitch. "We are fine, don't you think so?"
"No." he paused. "But i just had to hear it to make sure."
My arms rapped around his neck hugging him tight. "We are, i promise."
For a moment i could of swore he smelled me but i just shook it off pushing him back. "I should go," he kissed my temple and walked out the room, just when the door shut another one opens.
"Oh god," i breathed to only see Jake in a towel. "I am- wow."
"Sorry." he lowered his head. "Thought you were down stairs." He crossed his arms over his bare chest with a small smile. "Uh...."
"Right you wanna get dressed..." i laugh walking to the door, but to my surprise Jake caught my wrist.
"Is okay, i can get dressed in the bathroom." He walked over to his closet grabbing a pair of black boxer shorts and a red shirt. "Be right with you." he strolled back to the bathroom closing the door leaving me with jelly legs and heavy breathing.
I walked over to the window feeling as the cold wind came trough the cracks off the window, if this storm goes on like this through the night looked like its another day at home- well at least Jake's home. My arms hugged me tight as i just looked at the dark clouds over looming our town. My head lean back on the wall with a heavy sigh. The thought that keeps replying in my mind was, was Juliet going to do something rash to me or to Andy? i rather it would be me. I don't want my brother to get hurt.
