Chapter 4: Not him again
Fuck. I'm cornered. What do I do? That scumbag is back and I need to get home, now. I was hesitant and Jake was curious "What the hell are ya looking at?" I was still thinking and answered half-wittedly "There's someone at my door and they're bad news, we're gonna have to find some other way of getting in." Jake was very worried now.
So I led Jake to a small alley leading through to my back gate "Good thing she doesn't know about this isn't it?" he looked at me relieved "Uh, I guess so." we walked inside and made damn sure the door was locked, windows were all shut and we creeped past the door, just escaping his gaze.
We went and sat on my bed and made sure we were silent. If she heard me, we were goners "Can I ask you something please? Who the fuck is that?" It pained me to have to re-live the experience in my head "She's my.... Brothers ex girlfriend. She's fucking insane. She's called Juilette." Jake's face changed in an instant "Why is she crazy?" I didn't hesitate "The crazy bitch pretended to get knocked up, then she pretended that someone had beaten her and when my brother found out she lied, she tried to lock him in her basement and kill him." Jake was shocked "Wow, she really is a crazy bitch. Why's she back?" Good question "I don't know."
Suddenly I heard a key turn in the lock of the front door, fuck who is it? It was Andy. What the fuck was he doing letting her in? I ran downstairs and I hugged my brother. "What the fuck is she doing here?" I pointed at her, Andy sighed. "She's here because she has something to tell me. I don't know what. Go ahead Jules." Juilette smiled evily "I'm suing you. There's one thing you failed to do. You didn't take me off your lease, so now I own 50% of everything you own. Since you refuse to aknowledge this, I now have the right to sue you." Andy and I stood there in awe "No. You're not coming back and ruining me and Clarity, what about my parents?" she stood tall and walked away, leaving a note behind on the couch. It read:
You're gonna either give me what I want by simply giving in or I'll get it by force. I'm giving you 24 hours to decide and when I come her again, your ass better be gone or it's court. Loving wishes from Jules xx.
That bitch. What are we gonna do? I looked at my brother and began crying into his side. "What are we gonna do now?" he looked like he had decided and explained what we were gonna do "We're gonna move away. Without mom or dad and they'll find somewhere. We however. Have to get outta here. Now." I was shocked at his sudden defeat. I knew he had given up. I knew as well as him how powerful she was, and we both knew it either easy or hard, so we chose to be easy. As I went to pack, I felt a sense of relief that I would be rid of my parents, Jake was now aware of our situation and as I finished packing all my belongings, me, Andy and Jake got into his SUV.
Jake offered to hold us up and he knew his parents would welcome us. So now his parents were home, we could go inside. Jake knocked on the door and his mom answered looking at us with suitcases in hand. She pulled us inside and we explained that we needed somewhere to stay, she was welcoming and happy for house guests. I was sharing with Jake and Andy was sleeping in his own room because he's older.
I unpacked in my new room and Jake hugged me "Welcome home." my feeling were through the roof now, I couldn't take it for much longer.
