Daddy's Little Girl

I felt empty, sad and honestly I'm dying..I couldn't even stand up to do anything...Jake and Andy are just like me, in the other side Jinxx and Ash seem to not care. I just met the girl and I miis her to death already...I sighed as I standed up and went to the kitchen. Andy looked miserable, like if Juliet had broke up with him, though...but he was like that because CC left and maybe she's not coming back.
"I feel miserable...", I said.
"You're not the only one", Jake said.
"Why she left, though?", Andy asked.
"I don't know.."
"There most be a reason", Jake said.
"But, which is that reason?", Andy asked.
"We can go to Iowa..", I suggested.
"I can't leave Juliet..", Andy said.
"And I can't leave Ella", Jake said.
"Then, I'll go in my own"
"Please, tell her I love her and miss her", Jake said.
"I will", I said as I got out of the kitchen and went to pack.
All I want is to know why she left...it's true, it didn't seem like Jinxx wanted her to be here, he barely even spend time with her and he's her "uncle", right? If he was my uncle, I will hate him for the rest of my days...I am going to stay just for a week since I have to be here before tour and rehearsals. I really don't understand why Jinxx doesn't gives a fuck, though...I thought he'll be the first one to go after her, but instead I am and I'm glad because that way I can prove her that there's someone who does cares and is willing to do anything for her. She's my best friend and twin..suddenly is like if life is nothing to me if she's not by my side..is like I just met my soulmate, who turns out to be my bandmate's niece.
"Why are you packing?", Ash asked as he got in.
"I'm going to Iowa", I said.
"What for?"
"To talk with Christina.."
"Why, though?"
"Because, I miss her..not only me, but Jake and Andy too"
"Why should you go after her? You didn't do anything wrong...she's just seeking for attention"
"Tell me, what you have against her?"
"What will I have against an 17-year-old?"
"I don't know...but you've been acting weird since she got to this house"
"And I'm going to keep acting weird.."
"You don't like her, right?"
"There's something about her that doesn't seems right.."
"Like what?"
"When Travis had a daughter?", he asked.
I shrugged, "That's not important, though.."
"Maybe to you..", he said as he got out of my room.
I'm going to find out why she left...and if I have to stay up and starve, I will...because I do care and at least I want to know if she's safe.
NEXT DAY
As soon as I arrived to Webster City, Iowa...I went to look for Christina, it wasn't hard since all I had to do was look through the phonebook. I was standing right at her door, I sighed as I knocked and at the same time I felt nervous..she opened the door, and she had a big smile in her face. She hugged me and kissed my cheek.
"What are you doing here?", she asked.
"I came to ask you why you left..", I said.
"You could have text me to ask me that.."
"I wanted to find out in person.."
She sighed, "There are a lot of things I need to explain.."
"Start.."
She stepped out and closed the door behind her as we sat at the swing, "Depending on how you'll take it.."
"We're friends, you can tell me"
"I'm not Jinxx's niece.."
"You're not?", I asked.
She shook her head, "I'm his daughter.."
"What?!"
She nodded, as a few tears went down her cheeks, "Yeah.."
"So, you're his daughter?"
"I am"
"So, you're the baby that's in the pictures he keeps in his guitar case.."
"I guess.."
"Why you lied to us, then?"
"Because he asked me to..and please don't tell anyone!"
"I promise I won't..and why you left?"
"Because, it was killing me! It was killing me that I had to lie to you and dad doesn't gives a fuck if I do.."
"Come here..", I said as I hugged her. "I don't care whether you're his daughter or not but it hurted me that you lied and it hurts me even more to think that you're not coming on tour with us.."
"I don't want to be close to Jinxx..or Andy"
"And what Andy did to you?", I asked.
"Is that important?"
"I want to know.."
"It's not important.."
"There most be a reason for why you don't want to be close to Andy"
"There's a reason, but it's totally selfish.."
"Tell me"
"Well, Andy told me he wanted to ask Juliet to marry him and he asked me if he should wait and I told him to wait and talk with his parents and Juliet...the thing is that I love Andy and I want the best for him and I know his parents pushed him into this and to think that I thought he loved me...he took me to a nice dinner, we talked, we walked..I guess I was wrong", she said.
"You think Andy is happy next to Juliet?", I asked.
She shrugged, "I don't know, but it seems like"
"He's not...I saw how he looked at you when he first saw you and he barely even knows you..."
I sighed, "I have to let him go.."
"That's the best thing you can do and I promise I'll help you through this hard time"
"Thanks, CC", she said as she kissed my cheek.
"Come back to L.A with me..we miss you a lot!"
She sighed, "But Jinxx.."
"Don't worry...everything is going to be okay and I'm going to be around"
She nodded, "I want to go back and be there for tour.."
"You should be packing, because we're leaving tomorrow"
She shook her head, "At least let me spend time with my grandparents.."
"Okay..one week then"
"Thanks..but don't tell anyone I'm going back"
"Okay"
"Love you, CC", she said.
"And I love you more, CC"
There's no way I was going to go back to L.A without taking Christie with me..I know Jake and Andy are going to be excited but I have no idea of how Jinxx is going to take it. She's his daughter and he doesn't even treats her like it and I'm starting to think that he never wanted her and he was just acting to take her with him to L.A....Jinxx is a total fake!
