Look Up To Me

I stared out the window as we drove to get to the airport, I hadn't registered that I would actually have to go on an airplane to get to LA, My Mom looked over at me as I put in my ear phones again, she smiled at me this time instead of telling me to talk to her. Which made me happy as I watched Legion Of The Black, my favorite mini movie ever. Especially since I got to see my Brother and the rest of my saviors for about the millionth time in this. I sang with the song quietly knowing that my Mom wanted to focus on driving, then after about fourty five minutes it was done and we were finally at the airport, We got there about two hours early so that we could get past security.

The man taking the tickets for the plane finally said our row, my Mom got the first row on purpose so that I didn't have to try to push past people to get off the contraption that I had been scared of since I was young, I looked over at my Mom as she nodded, "Its gonna be okay Ry, I know you hate airplanes but I knew you wouldn't have wanted to take a four day trip on the road with me." She told me earning a nod from me as I put my backpack under the seat and held onto the black veil brides pendant that I had gotten along with all the band merch, it was at the very bottom though, but I didn't mind, it meant a lot to me. I sat down and held onto the pendant tight, as if it was my life and also the arm rest next to me. The plane began to move and all I could think was Shit, shit shit I'm going to die. And I would reply with a yes Ryley yes you are. And of course that made me even more nervous about the fact that I was in a huge hunk of metal. I gripped the pendant tighter as the thing lifted off, and pretty soon we were in the air and me, I was pretty freaked out at the fact that this thing could drop at any time. I looked over at my Mom, who was already fast asleep.

I sighed and put my earphones back in, put my hood up and laid my head down on the little table thing, letting Andy's voice, Jinxx's string talents Jakes strumming, CC's drumming and my Brothers bass and ocasionally his soft voice fill my head as I drifted off to sleep.
