Misunderstood

Raven's P.O.V

It just had to be Jinxx's car. I then saw all 5 boys start to get out of the car. That's when I knew I had to get out if there. I then sped off, but before I could go far hands gripped my hood of my jacket and was pulled off my skateboard with my landing in the hard ground and my skateboard still rolling.

I saw that CC was the one to pull me back. He then proceeded to kick my stomach. I just shut my eyes tightly. I had to go to a happy place, but I don't know if I can. I'm in so much pain. I opened my eyes to see only four of the guys. Ashley took my jacket off of me and ripped in half like it was a thin piece of paper. Tears pricked my eyes. That's all I had of my best friend.

You see... I actually had a friend in 8th grade. We were close. She was my only friend and I was her only friend. Then one night, I got a call from her and she kept repeating, "I'm sorry. I love you. Stay strong. I will miss you. Good bye." I was so confused, so I just cried. Then my mom came running into my room and told me that my friend, Kristen, had committed suicide. And the doctors couldn't save her. That's all I had of her. Her parents decided to move right iafter her funeral, so they have all of her stuff.

I then became numb. The boys repeatedly kicked me. I didn't feel anything. I finally looked up and saw that Andy was just sitting on the car staring at the whole commotion. His face was expressionless. But I noticed a familiar purple notebook in his hand.

When the guys finally, they all got back in the car except for Andy, who came over to me and threw my notebook at my face. And then he got in the car. All I did was grab the shreds of Kristen's jacket and cried gripping the jacket to my chest tightly. I just want to be buried alive. I thought that the evil 5 would be obliged to such an "honor."

I finally got the strength to get up. I caught up with my skateboard and got on it, and proceeded on my way to school. I may be in pain, but I was still going to school. I somehow got to school 10 minutes early. I didn't even dare go to my tree. I just went to my locker and got my things for the day.

**time skip to after school**

Luckily, the boys left me alone at school. I ran out of school with my skateboard in hand. I out my earbuds in listening to flyleaf. I didn't even stop to put my skateboard down, I just threw so it was rolling and a I jumped on it, and continued on my way other place I hated.

I finally got to the Biersack's house. I walked in quietly, and saw Mrs. Biersack in the kitchen making a snack. I just smiled and waved at her and ran up the stairs to my room. I closed the door quickly and locked it. I went to the mirror and pushed my shirt and tank top up, so I could see the damage. I was just bruised. I know I didn't have broken ribs. Thank goodness. I got Kristen's jacket and put up to my heart and let a few trickles fall down my face. I then got my purple notebook out. I didn't dare open it. I knew it would be filled horrible comments, and scratch mark marking my drawings out. Four years of drawings gone to waste. Whether they knew it or not, they read my secrets.

I then remember that I had work at the bookstore tonight. I work at the bookstores on the weekdays, and I work all day at the local vinyl record shop on the weekends. Once I was ready for work, I walked downstairs and said goodbye to Mrs. Biersack and told her that I would be back at 8.

The bookstore had been empty like usual, then I heard the bell of the door opening. I looked over the counter and saw that no other than the evil 5 walked in with 4 girls at their hips. The only one who didn't have a girl was Andy. And that confused me. I just looked back down at my book and continued reading. I was reading until 4 books were slammed on the counter. I slowly looked up and proceeded to check them. The boys didn't say anything, but they did give me evil glares.

By the time they were starting to leave, I was off of work and the next people to work the shift came in. I grabbed my skateboard and went home. I got to the house just in time for dinner. Andy was the only boy at the table other than a nice looking man. I'm guessing it's his dad.

"Hi! You must be Raven. I'm Andy's dad." He said giving me a big smile.

I just waved and smiled and we all ate. Andy just stared at me the whole time. I'm starting to get freaked out. His face was just expressionless. He must be zoning out I guess. When I was finished eating, I excused myself and went up to my room.

I changed into plain black sweatpants and a purple tank top. I was just about to get in bed when I heard a knock. I slowly walked up to it, and just slightly cracked the door open and saw piercing blue eyes looking right back into my dull blue ones.

"Y-yes?" I asked hesitantly.

"I just wanted to say goodnight." He said with and edge to his voice. He then just left without my saying anything back to him.

I closed the door and got on my bed. I just looked at the cover of my purple notebook and listened to Evanescence until I fell asleep.
