Misunderstood

Raven's P.O.V

I got out of Amy's car and grabbed my bags. I could hear loud music coming from the house. I guess Amy was used to it, because she didn't look surprised or upset about the blaring music. I'm surprised they hadn't gotten noise complaints from neighbors.

"Please do forgive the noise. My son, Andy, and his friends are having band practice. Do you know Andy from school?"
I didn't know what to say so I just told her that he sounded familiar. As soon as we opened the door the music had become even louder, if that was even possible. I just stood rig inside the house awkwardly. I was actually afraid.

"Hold on one second dear. I will be right back. You stay right here." She said giving me a big smile. Well Andy obviously didn't get his meanness from his mom. She was a sweetheart from what I have seen so far.

I decided to look around. I could that there was a living room at the end of this short hallway. The house was beautiful. Well the hallway was beautiful at least. I then hear Amy talking/yelling to her son.

"Andy! Dear, my friend from work's daughter who I told you was staying with us is here! Please come and greet our guest." The music was suddenly silenced.

The dreading moment came, and I saw Andy and his four other friends walking towards me. I decided to look down. I couldn't bare to look them in the eyes.

"Raven is is my son, Andy. Andy this my friend's daughter, Raven. Now Andy will show you around. Chris is my husband. He is not here right now. He is on a business trip, but he will be back later on tomorrow. Andy show her around and show her room. I will get dinner ready. Oh, and Raven make your self at home," she said giving me a big smile and a loving pat on the shoulder.

Andy didn't even wait for me. He just went ahead with his friends without even taking a glance at me. His house was bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside. We went up the stairs, and he opened my temporary bedroom door.

"This will be your room, Freak. There is a bathroom in your room. Dinner will be ready at 9. My room is just across the hall. Don't you dare go into my room, nit even for your precious little notebook." With that he and his friends left.

The room was beautiful. It was all black, red, and white. By the time I was done packing, it was time for dinner. I walked to the dining room and saw a beautifully set table. There was one problem. Well other than Andy and his horrid friends. I was a vegetarian. And there was a lot of meat on the table. Then at that moment Amy walked in.

"Go and have a seat dear," she said pulling a seat out for me to sit in.

"Umm I'm sorry Mrs. Biersack, I forgot to tell you, but I'm vegetarian." I felt horrible. Not to mention I was embarrassed.

"Oh don't worry about that! Your mom always talks about you. So of course I remember her telling me about you being vegetarian. So, I made you a salad."

"Aww. Thank you so much."

His mom went to go get my salad, and I decided to look up. Big mistake. There was Jinxx, CC, Jake, Ashley, and Andy giving the meanest look. I quickly looked back down. To my rescue, Andy's mom came back into the dining room. Then we all began to eat our meals.

"So Raven, your mom tells me that your draw and write." I can tell Andy's mom was trying to start a conversation since it was getting a little awkward.

"Umm. Yes ma'am."

"What do you write?"

"I write short stories sometimes. But I mainly write songs and music."

"Do you play anything?"

"I play guitar, piano, drums, violin, and I sing a little bit."

"How wonderful!"

*time skip to after dinner*

Andy's friends had finally all left. Sadly, his mom decided to go to bed. I had volunteered to clean up after dinner. So currently, I was cleaning the dishes when I heard someone walk into the kitchen. By the heavy boot-like footsteps, I could tell that it was Andy. I stopped for one second, but regained my strength to continue cleaning the dishes. I felt Andy breathing down my neck. I didn't dare say anything.

"This is going to be fun." I turned my head slowly, looking up at him with a confused expression clear on my face.

" You didn't think that I would be nice to you just, because of my mom did you?" He was basically mocking me. I wanted to cry. Home was my refuge, and I can't even have that now. I looked down to see that I had finally finished the dishes. I literally ran up to my room. I could hear Andy laughing from downstairs. I changed into my Batman pajama bottoms with a black tank top to sleep in. I wasn't. Tired yet so I got into bed, and put my earbuds in, listening to Three Days Grace, while I read.

When I became exhausted, I set my alarm clock on my phone, and fell asleep quickly.

**next morning**

I woke hearing my phone. I jumped into the shower. Once I was out, I chose my clothes for the day. I decided on a Beatles crop top, with black high waisted jeans. I once again wore my red and black Harley Quinn jacket. I had decided to wear my Batman converse. I did my usual make up, but I decided to wear my hair in a waterfall braid. I grabbed my skateboard and batman backpack, and ran down the stairs into the kitchen.

I saw all the guys eating pancakes. I sat down quietly, and made my own pancakes. I ate just a little and very quickly. I quickly said goodbye, and ran outside and got on my skateboard to go to school. Before I could go anywhere, the evil 5 were already following close behind me. Great. Now I will never be left alone. I decided to ignore them and went as fast I could on my skateboard toward school.

I was almost at school when I was stopped by a black Honda Civic Sedan. I stopped right on time, or I would have probably gotten a broken wrist from tripping off of my skateboard. I saw that who the car belonged too. And I knew right then that I probably wouldn't make to school on time. Please someone. Give me strength.
