Misunderstood

Raven's P.O.V

I kept my back against the cool brick. My eyes were closed but my head was facing up towards the sky. It was complete and utter silence except for the sounds of passing cars and crickets, frogs, and other various bugs in the night. The sound of a screeching door opening ruined the beautiful silence that I had claimed. I opened my eyes to feel for the first time the tears that had trickled slowly down my face. They were already starting to dry, making my face sticky. I barely glanced over at the multiple dark figures that exited the building. I went back to looking up at the stars and taking deep filling breaths. I let a few more tears slowly protrude from my already puffy eyes and leak down my face ruining my makeup more than it already was.

From the sound of it, the strangers were looking for something. They were yelling someone's name. I didn't even pay attention that they were screaming my name. I heard some with a scratchy and low voice speak close to me.

"Here she is!" The voice yelled.

The pounding of feet, heavy and soft patters in like, came running towards my still body. I was paralyzed. I couldn't move. I was entranced by the beauty and stillness of the sky. It was so peaceful, like nothing could disturb it except for when night comes to an end and light slowly creeps in and takes over and dominates the sky. But the night will once again return to its glory and captivate the precious people who took the time to notice its beauty.

I felt hands roughly shake me breaking my concentration from the sky that was right in front of me. I felt like it was getting closer to me, but the person in front of me broke it and made the sky go back high up where I could no longer reach up and touch it.

I let my eyes focused and saw that Emerald stood in front of me with a look that read concern and shock. I just looked at her blankly. What was I supposed to say? I looked to my left and saw the guys, even Andy and his lover standing there. Though, he and her were standing off in the distance.

Without saying a word, I walked away in trancelike way. I don't have the ability to feel right now. I poured all of my heart, soul, feelings in to the song I had sang less than 20 minutes ago. How can one song take all the emotions away? I can't tell if it's a good or bad thing.

I walked past Andy and his girl and looked straight ahead not even taking a glance at them. I could feel their eyes bearing down on me. In curiosity or hatefulness I'm not sure. But I could feel the staring,but not just from them. From everyone who had came looking for my now soulless and emotionless self.

Why did they care? It's just me.

I kept walking and felt as my tears dried.

Ok so I know that not that much happened in this chapter, but I wanted to try adding more detail and stuff. I'm going to be super duper busy this weekend with choir and homework. That's one reason why I wanted to post tonight. Please comment what you think. It will make me more motivated to write. I actually went back and looked at all of my comments I got from you guys and I cried of happiness. It made me truely and deeply happy. You have no idea. Well I love you all my little weirdos and I will see you next time when I update which will hopefully be soon.
