Misunderstood

Raven's P.O.V
I didn't even think about going to my own car. I just kept running. When I thought I lost the heavy footsteps, I felt arms wrap around my waist and pull me to their chest. I was flailing my arms and legs to free myself, but I he held me tighter. He dug his head into the crook of my neck. I felt tears fall onto my skin. I smelt his familiar smell. He smelt the same even four years later. Of mint and vanilla.

"Raven..." I heard him whisper. You can practically hear the tears in his voice.

"Yes...?"

"Don't leave me.... Raven look at me."

I slowly but surely turned around in his arms and look into the icy blue orbs that I for some reason missed. He hugged me to his chest. I hugged him back. He may have hurt me.... a lot, but I learned to forgive and move on. I shouldn't accept him this easily. He has to earn my trust.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I was stupid all those years in high school. I need you to know that I have changed."

I just looked at him not saying anything. I mean what was I supposed to say? I felt him loosen his grip and is yanked out of his arms and stepped away from him. I just looked at him.

"Raven... Say something."

"I forgive you..."

"You do?" He said with a big toothy grin.

"But you must earn my trust. It will be a while before I fully trust you."

"Small steps?" He said with a hopeful look.

"Small steps." I said nodding.

Just at that moment ,like in a cliche movie, Emerald came running up towards me. She basically jumped on my and gave me a bear hug. I got her to get off of me by smacking her in the face. Not hard if course, but just enough to make her get off of me.

"It took you long enough to show up!" I screamed at her laughing completely forgetting that Andy was still standing there.

"Hey I knew what was going to happen. I had to make as cliche as I could." She said giving me a big smile and then she wiggled her eyebrows. Man is she weird, but I love her. Haha.

Hey guy! I'm a little upset so the chapter isn't long. I couldn't sleep at all last night. Someone has stolen my story and it upsets me. I messaged the writer and she took my message the wrong way. She thinks I want to write a story with her. She said she is going to change the story completely and to not fret. How can I not fret?! It's my story and you took and you are getting credit for something I wrote and came up with?! I'm sorry about the rant/vent thing, but it just frustrates me to no end that someone would do that. I love you all. And please comment whatchu think! I promise to write a longer chapter. :)
