Twisted Reality
Prologue
Life for rock ‘n’ roll band Black Veil Brides was going wonderfully. Even after the backstabbing by ex-guitarists Chris and Pan, as well as the civil departure of ex-drummer Sandra, things were going more or less according to plan. One thing that hadn’t been part of the plan when nineteen-year-old Andy Biersack, the frontman and only remaining original member, had started dreaming of this as a child was falling in love with his bassist.
To those who didn’t know him, Ashley Purdy was the perpetual ladies’ man, the one who came back from every bar they went to after shows and meet-and-greets with a woman on his arm. To those who did know him, it was just an act to fool the public since he ditched the woman at the door to the bus in favor of his best friend, bandmate, and lover. The rest of the band, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, multi-instrumentalist Jeremy “Jinxx” Ferguson, and drummer Christian “CC” Coma, paid no heed to their romantic shenanigans, not even to rib them about hearing their pleasured screams the next morning.
Being on the road with their best friends, who doubled as brothers and bandmates, while touring across America to support their album, We Stitch these Wounds, was a dream come true for the eccentrically happy couple. Most of the things that happened to them on the road were the last thing that any of them expected, but they usually had a good outcome. Other than Andy getting hurt and having to be hospitalized from time to time, everything worked out perfectly, and they couldn’t ask for anything better.
However, one night after finishing out their Pins and Needles Tour, everyone headed back to the bus to head home to LA. It was just a typical night of performing, partying, and fucking for all of them, and they were all schnockered beyond common sense and coherent thought. Jake, Jinxx, and CC thought nothing of Andy and Ash disappearing into the back room, where moans, groans, and screams were soon heard. CC thought nothing of Jake and Jinxx, who were also in a relationship together, disappearing into the bunk room for the same purpose. Being too drunk to stand, the drummer merely passed out on the couch in the living area, but what he’d wake to wasn’t what any of them expected by a long shot.

I might take you up on your offer at some point, sugar. For now, the story that I'm most focused on writing is Hanging by a Moment, mainly because I can't get what inspired it outta my head. For now, though, like I said, I'm just gonna consider it on hold...
