Sleeping With A Friend

Today was the biggest and most important day of my life. I was finally going to be getting married. In a matter of minutes I would finally officially be Mrs. Jaime Alberto Preciado. Excitement coursed through my body along with pure joy as I sat in front of the mirror while Aisling finished curling the last few strands of my hair. My friend since childhood was going to be my Maid of Honor and I was getting married to my soul mate.

"Are you excited," she asked as she sprayed my hair lightly with hair spray. Once my hair was curled it tended to stay that way but the hair spray was a just in case thing because today it would be just my luck that my hair decided not to cooperate.

"Excited? Honey I'm so elated that it's not even funny. I'm finally marring the man of my dreams," I said standing up to stretch out my back. My gown hung on the hook still in its garment bag. I walked over to it and pulled the bag off revealing the beautiful white dress. It had a corseted top that tied in the back, the skirt was big and poofy like a princess, the neckline was sweetheart and there was a few sparkles here and there. Aisling was already in her dress. It was similar to mine with the exception that it was blue and came to her knees. She helped me into the dress and tied the back tight enough that when I looked in the mirror my boobs were practically falling out of it.

"Perfect," I said as she placed the veil in my hair.

"Time to go," she said and handed me my bouquet of blue and white roses. I pulled my veil down as she opened the door to the room we were in.

The wedding went by in a blur of laughter, smiles, tears of joy and nerves. The reception went by even faster because of the influence of alcohol. I vaguely remember shoving cake in Jaime's face. Aisling's toast was hazy but thankfully she had suggested we record the whole thing for us all to watch later. The honey moon was as it was expected to be.

*******Three Weeks Later********

I sat anxiously on the edge of the bed my knees bouncing up and down. Aisling had jokingly suggested I take a pregnancy test over the phone a little while ago. Out of curiosity I had and now I sat waiting on the results. When the timer on my phone went off I jumped three feet in the air and ran into the bathroom.

"Jaime Alberto Preciado get your ass in here now," I shouted so he would hear me from the kitchen.

"What is it my love," he panted as he ran into the bathroom. With a giant grin I held up the little stick.

"We're going to be parents," I managed around the lump of joy in my throat. He picked me up, spun me around and kissed me hard.

"I'm so glad baby," he smiled.
