The Family Man

It was the second of May and Ashley and I were taking the twins over to Andy and Juliet’s place to visit the new baby. Samantha and Jack were so excited; this was the closest they were getting to cousins; apart from Anna and Tara of course.
“I’m glad Aunt Juliet decided to have a boy.” Jack said as we were getting out of the car.
I smiled and decided not to tell him that Juliet didn’t decide that. “And why is that Jack?”
“Cause I’m always surrounded by girls!” He complained, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “All I have to play with is Samantha, Anna and Tara!”
“You like them, don’t you?” I asked.
“Yeah, sometimes. But it would be nice to have another boy to play with.” He sighed.
“Well, you should be grateful that your sister likes toy cars.” Ashley said. “She could hate them and only want to play with dolls.”
Jack blanched at that. “No way!”
I laughed. “Don’t worry Jack, someday you won’t mind playing with girls so much. You might even love it.”
“No I won’t!” He said.
“Oh really? Then how do you think your father and I got married?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.
He looked at me perplexed. Ashley just started laughing.
“Playing, yeah, that’s what we were doing.” Ashley said through his laughter.
I gave him a playful punch. “Come on, Juliet and Andy are waiting.” We walked up to the door and before I could knock, Andy was standing there with the door open.
“Hey guys!”
“Congratulations Andy.” I said.
“Thanks, Belle.”
“Where are Juliet and the baby?” I asked.
“In the living room.” He said. “You and the twins go on ahead, we’ll catch up.”
I nodded and took the twins by the hand, leading them into the living room. Juliet was sitting on the couch with a small bundle in her arms.
“Hey, Juliet. How are you feeling?” I asked.
“Tired, I don’t think he ever sleeps.”
I chuckled. “I know, be glad you don’t have two.”
“What’s his name?” Samantha asked.
“Wayne.” Juliet replied.
“Awww. Hi Wayne.” Samantha said, bending over the baby. She reached out her hand to touch him and he latched on to her finger.
“He’s really cute, for a baby.” Jack said.
“Yeah, he sure is.” Juliet said, smiling down at her newborn son.
“How are things going in here?” Andy asked as he and Ashley walked into the room. Andy sat next to Juliet and Ashley came to stand by my shoulder.
“Great.” Juliet replied. “The twins are being really sweet with him.” She yawned.
“We should head home, let you get some rest.” I said.
“Okay, please stop by again, I could use the help and the company.” Juliet said, half jokingly.
“Of course, you just call and I’ll be right over.” I said, smiling. “Come on you two, time to head home.”
“Okay.” They said together, a little sadly.
I took Jack’s hand, while Ashley picked Samantha up into his arms. Andy walked us to the door.
“Please stop by to visit.” Andy said. “I can’t always be here and I don’t want her to be left alone to much.” He looked at the floor a little guiltily.
I gave him a quick one-armed hug. “I’ll talk to Ella. We’ll figure something out.”
“Thanks Belle.” He said with a small smile.
“No problem.” I turned and headed to the car where Ashley and Samantha were already waiting.
I smiled to myself as we drove away; another addition to the Black Veil Brides family. Wayne Biersack.

Sorry I've been away so long. School has had me really busy. It'll probably be like this for another couple weeks, but I'll try to get more chapters up soon. Please comment.
