Fallen Angels

Andy awoke with a start. He felt like he was falling and he nearly did fall off the bed. He let out a yell and grabbed his head. He was in tremendous pain and was confused. He looked around and realized he was in a house and it wasn’t dark. He noticed the sun shining through the curtains. He got up and walked out the door. He made it to the living room and realized that he was in Jesse and Ashley’s house. No one was in the living room and their door was shut. He walked to the kitchen and poured himself a big cup of water and downed it in one swig.

He opened the front door and came face to face with a guard. “How long have I been asleep?” He questioned.“It's been 36 hours sir.” The guard replied. “Report?”“As of right now the only ones conscious are Orion, Maya, Carla, Mike, and Ellie.” Andy nodded.“Their location?”“Maya, Ellie, and Orion are all at the guard tower. Carla and Mike are are her house.” “Thanks.” Andy said and took to the air.

His first stop would be the tower. He needed a full report and to know just how bad things were. He stayed relatively low to the ground and he spotted both human and angel guards. It would seem that someone had been keeping the whole place running. He flew to the tower and headed right for the command office. When he got there he saw Ellie and Orion talking and going over a map.

“Andy you're awake!” Ellie proclaimed, causing Orion’s head to shoot up.
“Thank God.” She said.
“Yes I am awake. Can someone give me the run down?” He questioned.
“Okay well everyone is in pretty bad shape. They can’t heal because the weapons were coated with a poison that stops angles healing. Carla and Mike are working on an antidote. We have guards patrolling but they aren’t to go out to far. So far we haven’t had any incidents. I think they noticed the gate being closed and now have to find another way in. I haven’t seen anything so for now I think we are safe.” Ellie informed me.

Andy thought for a second. They had no idea where the next gate was or how long it would take them to reach it and descend back to Hell. He had two option. One, wait it out and let them attack again or two, unseal the gate and surprise attack them. He knew he was running out of time. Lucifer had deliberately told him where Alese was so he would go. In the end he knew he had no choice.

“Once everyone is healed we are going to unseal the gate and march into Hell.” He informed them. Orion looked shocked but Ellie seemed to know it was coming. “Ellie, Maya, Jinxx, and Carla will stay here with the human guards and a few angel guards. We have no choice. We can’t just keep letting them come to us. We have to make a stand now. This will be the deciding battle.” He informed them. “I will be at my lake. If anything changes or someone wakes up, send for me.” They nodded and he flew off.

He stripped down and dove into the lake. Thoughts of Alese being trapped in Hell fresh in his mind. He knew it was a trap but they had no choice. The longer Alese was there, the more their chances of winning this war diminished.

Andy had no idea how long he was under water but at some point a guard came to inform him that Jack, Alex, Jinxx, and CC were all awake and Carla was getting closer to finding a cure to the poison. The guard told him that Jack and Alex wanted to talk to him. He said that was fine and a few minutes later Jack and Alex showed up, limping and leaning on each other for support.

“I would have met you guys.” Andy started.
“No we needed to get out.” Jack said.
“We have been out for too long.” Alex finished.
“So have you heard?” Andy asked. They both nodded.
“That’s why we are here.” Jack.
“We knew it would come to this.” Alex.
“A life or death situation.” Jack.
“We are here to say that.” Alex.
“We will lay down our life at your feet.” Jack.
“We will follow you into the depths of Hell.” Alex.“This war needs to be ended once and for all.” Jack.

So I apolozie that it has been so long but I just haven't had the motivation to write this for some reason. I will try and be better though. I hope this chapter is okay. I started it last week but couldn't finish it.
