Fallen Angels

Vic set up candles and had Carla put funny smelling ointments over both Alese and Andy. When they were done Vic looked to Carla, “One more chance to back out. This is life or death. One wrong word, one wrong move and it’s over.” She nodded, ready to do it.

Vic pulled up a chair and sat down, “Now what I need from you is to me my anchor to this place. I am fixing to slip into I don’t know where, but I need to stay her physically. If I get too much into it I might lose my physical self and we don’t want that. I need you to wrap a vine around me and feel for my life force. If you feel it start slipping away, I need you to pull me back.”

“I don’t know how to do that.” Carla said with fear in her eyes.
“Just feel, you will feel my heart beat start to slow, then I will start fading away. That is when you need to pull me back. I don’t care how you do it, just find a way.”
She nodded, shaking from all the responsibility, but determined to succeed.
“Another thing, I will be feeding from you magik so if at any time you get weak, you need to shut me out. I won’t have much control over my physical body so it’s up to you to shut me out.”
He closed his eyes and started chanting. As he was doing this Carla started snaking vines around his body. They had thorns, but so long as he stayed still he wouldn’t be poked. She then set about to setting up a shield of vines for herself in case things took a turn for the worse.

Vic suddenly went silent, the room dropped 30 degrees, and everything was still. Vic had made it into Andy’s mind. Andy was frantic; all he saw was red; the red of Alese’s wings and the red of Lucifer’s eyes. He was trapped in a nightmare. He couldn’t get out because of the spell Vic put him under. Once Andy saw Vic things calmed a little.

“What’s going on?” Andy asked, “What did you do to me?”
“You went into total chaos mode and I had to stop you, I put you into a coma like sleep so you wouldn’t destroy camp.”
Andy nodded, “Then where are we?”
“You are stuck inside your own head, I am here with you because I need to grab onto the link you have with Alese and break whatever is keeping you out of her head.”
“How are you going to do that if you can’t get into her head yourself?”
“You two have a stronger bond, if I can grab that link, then I might be able to push us through. You two are soul mates, the bond is much more, whatever is keeping you out is not as strong as the bond.”
Andy nodded, “What do I need to do?”
“Find the link, lead me to it.”
Andy started chasing the red wings again with Vic right behind him. Vic had no idea where they were or where they were going, but he followed. Eventually they came across a canyon, before Vic could speak Andy dove straight into it. Vic had no choice but to follow. He fell and extended his wings, slowing his fall. Finally they hit the bottom and Vic could make a silvery glow.

“That’s it.” Andy informed him. “Normally it lights this place up, but as you can see it’s so dull, and once I go so far I hit darkness. A black fucking wall!” He yelled pounding his fists against the side of the canyon.

“Give me a few minutes.” Vic said following the glow. Sure enough once he walked a short distance the glow stopped and left him in total darkness. He whispered a few words and a light appeared. He studied the wall and the glow and realized that it was Alese herself closing Andy out. This was the same barrier she used to keep him out. Andy would not be happy to hear this.

Vic had to find to make a crack at least to get them through. He sat in front of the wall and stared at it for a while until Andy came and sat next to him. “Any luck?”
“Well I know that she put this up herself to keep us out, however I do not know why. We have to find a way to at least crack it so I can get us through, all I need is a little hole.”
“I’ve tried all I can. I have beaten it, cursed at it, begged, and cried but still go nowhere.”
“I’m going to try my magik on it. However I want you to know that it is dark magik and I will be feeding off your energy to do it. If you start feeling weak, let me know.”
“What are you going to do?” Andy asked concerned
.
“I’m going to attack this wall with dark magik, she doesn’t have any defenses against it, and so she shouldn’t be able to keep it out. This wall was only made to keep you and me out. She didn’t want us to know what was going on.”
Andy nodded, concerned etched into his face. “If it’s the only way then so be it.”

Vic nodded, he hoped that he wouldn’t kill everyone in the process.

Sorry its been a few days since I updated, my birthday was Friday and my boyfriend took me bowling and hustled me -_- needless to say I lost a bet and now have to drink my least favorite soda. Not happy but a bet is a bet haha.
