Fallen Angels

Vic put his hands on the wall and started humming. At first everything was normal, then out of nowhere the air got thinner and the ground started shaking. Andy fell and Vic continued humming. Soon Vic had a black cloud surrounding him. The humming stopped and he started chanting in a language Andy didn’t know. The more Vic chanted the less air Andy had. He had no idea what was going on other than he was suffocating. The last thing he saw was Vic looking at him with eyes as black as night, then Andy passed out.

At first things seemed normal. Vic’s head slumped down as soon as he was done with his spell and things went quite. Carla walked around the room making sure everything was in place and okay. She sat behind her vine wall and waited. Then out of nowhere strange things started happening. First Andy’s body started trembling, then when she looked to Vic, he had a black aura surrounding him and his eyes were open, they were pitch black. Carla walked in front of him and snapped her fingers, but she got no response. As she started to walk behind her vine wall she started feeling light headed and lost her balance, stumbling to the floor. When she tried to get up she couldn’t. She had lost all control of her body and on top of that, she couldn’t breathe. It was like all the oxygen from the room had been vacuumed out. She tried to call on her vines to stop Vic, but she had lost control of those to. Her head slumped in defeat, this was the end. At least she would die saying she tried.

Andy woke up to blood curling screams. “NO! I would never do that!” more screams. As soon as he recognized the voice his head shot up. It was Alese, he knew that voice anywhere. Also he could feel her again. He felt nothing but pain and agony. He looked to the wall and it was gone, crumbled into a thousand little pieces. Vic had done it! He looked around for him but he was nowhere in sight. Could he have gone after Alese without him?

Vic snapped out of his trance when he heard someone screaming at him and then he felt physical pain. Had Carla just hit him? What happened? Dear God, he hoped he hadn’t hurt her. His eyes flew up and it wasn’t Carla before him but his little brother Mike.

“How the hell did you get in here?” Vic asked just as Mike collapsed in front of him gasping for air. “Mikey! Are you okay? What happened?” Vic asked now in a panic. He looked over to where Carla was supposed to be and saw her lying on the floor face down.

“Magik.. so strong.. almost couldn’t reach you.” Mike managed to choke out.
Vic was frightened. What happened? He then looked to Andy’s sleeping body which had moved some, but was still. Vic carefully made his way out of the vines and helped Mike get to the couch. He grabbed him some water and went to check on Carla. She still had a pulse, faint but it was there. He got her to the couch and Mike moved so they could lay her down.

“Can you tell me what happened?” Vic asked his little brother.
“Well when you sent us off, I stayed behind. I saw you put up your shield and I followed you into the bedroom. Everything seemed fine until out of nowhere Andy started shaking and you had this like black fog around you. You opened your eyes and they were black. Carla walked to you to see if you were awake but you weren’t so she went back to her shield, then she fell and that’s about the time that I went after you. But the air was so thin and I could hardly breathe. I panicked and threw mi wings out in hopes it would hit you. I got lucky and once I hit you the air loosened up a little and I got to you in time to pull you out. Now here we are.”

Andy couldn’t wait around he had to get to Alese. She was in pain. He followed the link and found her tied to a wall. It was so cold the floor was frozen and she was covered in water and shaking.

“ALESE!” Andy yelled through the link. Her head shot up and she started shaking her head.
“Nononononoono. Go away!” She yelled. “You can’t be here. Go before he comes back.”
“No Alese I am not going to leave you. We are in this together!”
“Andy he wants us together. He wants me to destroy you! You have to go before…”


“Well hello there Andy, nice to finally meet you in person.”
