Fallen Angels

Andy was downright distraught. He went into full panic mode when he couldn’t access his link with Alese. He started punching holes in walls and tried to fly off, but before he could take flight, Vic muttered something under his breath and Andy passed out on the spot. Ashley and Jinxx grabbed him before anyone else could see him and brought him into Vic’s house with his soul mate.

CC, Vic, Jinxx, Jake, Ashley, Mike, Jack, Alex, and Carla all crowded around the sleeping couple. None of them sure what to do. Vic was the first to speak up. “Okay one thing is for sure, we have to keep the camp in order. We cannot let any of them know that Alese is comatose and that their leader went berserk without his soul mate. Ashley, Carla, Jinxx, and I will stay here to try and see if we can get Alese to wake up, or at least open the bond up between the two so he can go in and save her. CC I want you and Mikey to keep the camp running, make sure survivors are being brought in, food and water supplies are good, and everyone is safe and comfortable.” Mike rolled his eyes at being called Mikey, but kept quiet and nodded. “As for Jack, Alex, and Jake we need to start the training up, any human who wants to fight needs to be equipped and taught. Also we need guards posted 24 hours; we cannot let another attack like that happen. We must be prepared, this is war.” Vic said with a worried look in his eyes, nobody but his little brother caught it.

Everyone cleared out to do as Vic commanded. He sent Ashley to check the wards around the place, and sent Carla and Jinxx out to get some supplies. As soon as Vic was alone with Andy and Alese, Mike stepped from the shadows.

“Yes Mikey?” Vic asked with his back to him.
“How do you always know?” Mike asked his older brother.
“I can sense you, what’s wrong little brother?”
“I saw that look in your eyes, something is wrong. What happened on your trip? What did you see?”
Vic sighed and looked at his little brother, he couldn’t lie to him, not after all they had been through.
“Let’s take a seat.” Vic told Mike, leading him to the living room.

Vic muttered a few things under his breath before he sat down next to Mike on the couch.

“Things are in chaos. Angels are falling and joining Lucifer, humans are even joining his cause. He has started a new revolution. He also is calling himself FEAR; the humans believe that if they don’t follow him, they will die. Plus it doesn’t help that Heaven is complete and utter chaos. Eve memories have been re opened and she remembers what happened. The Garden of Eden is dying and God is trying all he can to restore it and try and soothe Eve. The angles are worried that if the Garden dies, that they shall die to. So they are giving up their angelic souls and becoming part of Lucifer’s demon army in exchange for, what Lucifer is calling, ‘safety’.”
Mike looked so scared, Vic regretted telling him; but it had to be done, soon everyone would know. They couldn’t stay in their safe bubble forever, the war was upon them. Vic didn’t want to tell the others until he told Andy and Alese and they came up with a plan of action. Andy was the leader. They had been told to follow him and trust in him, so that is what Vic was going to do. He had faith in Andy; he just needed a little push. He was already shaping up to be a great leader.

“What are we going to do brother?” Mike asked. Vic looked at him and saw a glimpse of the little kid he rescued so long ago. This was his little brother and he would protect him until the end, even if that meant he must die.

“For right now we keep our mouths shut. Only you and Carla know the truth. I’m sure more angels will be joining us soon, but until Andy comes back to us, we say nothing. It is for everyone’s sake. Like I said the camp must stay operational and keep as much order and peace as possible. We must protect each other, and the humans.”

Mike nodded and walked to his brother and gave him a hug. Even though Vic was smaller, Mike still looked to him for comfort. He could feel Mike trembling in his arms. He told him it was going to be okay as he rubbed his back. He stopped trembling just as Carla and Jinxx showed up.
“We have what you needed.” Jinxx said as Carla handed over a bag full of stuff.

Mike nodded to Vic and disappeared. He had a way of doing that.

Vic looked to Jinxx, “You go help Ashley with the wards and see if anyone else needs help. Once you leave, I am putting a hex on the house, no one will be able to come in, and no one will be able to leave. I am fixing to cast a very dark spell and I cannot risk it getting lose and hurting anyone. Now I want you to know that if the house catches fire DO NOT put it out, Andy and Alese will be sealed, but only Ashley knows how to break the spell.” Jinxx nodded and pulled Vic in for a hug, “Good luck.” Vic hugged him back and nodded.

After Jinxx left, Vic turned to Carla, “You heard what I said, there is a chance that either you or I could die. I’m not sure how much you know about me, but I can cast black magik and that is what I will be doing. I do not expect you to stay; I am leaving the choice up to you. I do not want you to feel like you have to stay. The aura you produce is unlike any other I have ever seen and I would love to be able to see what you could do, but I will not beg you to sacrifice your life for people you just met.”

She looked at him with fire in her eyes, “I lived through the chaos of Heaven and came here and they accepted me as one of their own with no questions asked. I am willing to sacrifice myself for the Profit and his soul mate if need be. I am not afraid to die.” She told him, her blue aura engulfing her.

Vic nodded and headed into the room with Carla following behind him. If they survived the night, then Vic’s magik power would surpass that of God and Lucifer.
