I put on the outfit and face mask the doctor had given me to go into the operationg thetre with Hailey for her last operation. I looked over at her and she was smiling. I smiled, walking over, and gently leaning forward to kiss her. "You excited?" I asked and she nodded."Yeah. I'm going to be able to see you!" She said, and I chuckled, sitting on the bed beside her."Well I'm glad." I said, kissing her. "Andy?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you going to be in there with me?"
"Yeah, but if you don't want me in there I won't go in."
"No I want you in there, I'd feel better with you in there." She said, and I smiled. "Well then I'll be in there with you." I said, and she smiled. God that smile. It lights up my whole day.

The doctor came in, and smiled at us. "Right, are you both ready?" He asked, and we both nodded. He smiled, and two nurses came in and wheeled Hailey out, me following close beside. "Andy?"
"Yeah sweetie?"
"Will....will it hurt?"
"No It shouldent do."
"But i'm awake."
"I know sweetie, but there going to numb the pain for you, you wont feel anything I promise." I said, taking her hand and squeezing it lightly. She gave me a nervous smile, and I gently kissed her hand before letting go as they set her up. I was told to wash my hands, so I stood at the sink with the doctor. "Right, she won't feel anything, but it will hurt her for the next few days until her eyes focus. And while we are doing it, just keep her talking, or keep talking to her, keep her mind off whats happening." He said, and I nodded, walking back over to Hailey, and sitting on the chair that was beside the bed.

I took her hand, and she let out a big breath. "Thank god, was thinking you wern't going to come back then."
"Oh course I'd come back, I was just talking to the doctor." I said, and she nodded, squeezing my hand. The doctor walked over, and stood behide a machine. "Now Hailey were just going to put in some eye numbing drops so you don't feel the pain." He said, and she nodded. A nurse put in the eye drops, and she blinked a few times. "Now do you want me to tell you what I'm doing or just tell you when part is done?"
"Just tell me when part is done please." She said. "Ok then, were just going to begin." He said, and she squeezed my hand. On the machine was an arm like lever, and was moving around with the dotcor controling it. On the end of it was a small needle which gently sliced the first layer of the eye, making it water like hell.

I flinched slightly at the sight, but held it in so not to scare Hailey. "So, when all this is done your coming to live with me." I said, rubbing circles on the back of her hand. "Where abouts do you live?" She stuttered, trying to ignore the operation. "Not far from where I found you, maybe a few streets away. It's a small-ish house, but too big for me on my own. So I'm glad its going to be both of us."
"Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing it. To be hones I'm looking forward to seeing you." She said, and I saw her cheeks go slightly pink. I smiled, and gently kissed her hand. "Well I hope your not dissapointed."
"I'm sure I wont be. From what I felt you have good bone structure."
"Thank you." I said, and she giggled slightly. I watched the arm as it pulled out a part of the eye which was like an extreamly small ball of flesh, but seemed to be stained back, and had a while ball hanging off it. They gently cut it off and out it way, then gently sewed up her eye. I saw her blink a few times.

"Right done the first eye and now onto the second." The doctor said. "OK." She almost wimpered. I squeezed her hand. "Nearly done now Hail. You've done amazingly." I said, and she squeezed my hand. "I hope it's going to be done soon."
"It will be, the've just started the second eye and the first one didn't take that long."
"It's going really slow and I really want to blink."
"Try not to, but if you need to blink, it wont hurt anything." I said, and she nodded. "So will I get to meet your friends and band members?"
"Yeah deffinetly. They'll love you, and a few of them have girlfriends so you'll meet them too."
"What are all of there names?"
"Ermmm...right first theres Ashley Purdy, he's a bit of a playboy but an awesome friend. Then theres CC, hes mad but amazing, and he has a girlfriend named Lauren, sh's really nice. Theres Jake Pitts, he's quiet and love pizza, and his girlfriend is Ella cole whos a model. Then theres JInxx and he loves guitars, and his girlfriend Sammi Doll whos in a band herself, and has a photography company."
"Awesome, can't wait to meet them." She said, and I kissed her hand, watching as they removed the second lump, and sewed up her eye.

"Right, we are done. Now don't move just yet Hailey." The doctor said, and she nodded, squeezing my hand. He came over and asked her to close her eyes. He then placed two cotton buds which were drenched in some medical liquid over her eyes, and gently taped in in place. "Now you need to keep these on for three days while your eyes heel, but then after that we'll take them off and you should be able to see." He said, and we nodded, as she sat up, and we went back to the room.
