I tapped my foot impactiently on the tiled floor, listening to my boot click. I looked back up at the clock, and sighed seeing that it was only five minutes since I had last looked. She had been gone for hours now, and I just wanted to see her, to hold her in my arms. Susan walked in with two cups of tea in her hand, and she passed one to me. "Come on Andy not long now. She should be out soon."
"But I want her out now."
"Well you'll have to wait just a little longer." She said, and I nodded, taking a sip of tea. I looked back at the clock. The more I watched it, the longer each second seemed to become. I hated waiting. I had ADD and waiting here for hours didn't help it. I wanted her here, in my arms. I walked to kiss her again, I wanted to hold her hand. I sighed, taking a big sip of tea, and leaning back in the chair.

Suddenly the doctor walked in, and picked up a clipboard that was on the end of her bed. I imediatly stood up putting my cup on the side. "Is she out? Is she ok? How is she, has it been successful? Will-"
"Whooa, calm down there. She's fine, shes only just got out. She's in recovery, but they should wheel her through in a few minutes. She'll be tired and will be in a bit of pain, but that will fade." he said, and I nodded, sitting back down, watching him leave. "I'm going to talk to the doctor, I'll be back in a bit." Susan said, and I nodded, and she left. I saw two nurses appear, and Hailey was wheeled in. Once they had left I pulled up my chair beside the bed, and gently took her hand in mine.

She stired, and I smiled, looking at her. "A....Andy..." She said, weakly, and I leande forward, and kissed her lightly. "Hello baby." I said, and she smiled. "You stayed."
"Of course I did. I said I would."
"I know." She said, her eyes open now, her hand holding mine. "Andy.."
"Yeah?"
"It hurts..." She said, a tear falling down her cheek. "Heyy.. hey sweetie don't cry." I said softly, as tears now continued to come down. I got off the chair, and gently got on the bed beside her, and wrapped my arms around her, avioding all the tubes. "Hey listen. It's going to hurt for a while but it will fade. I promise you sweetie. Shh." I said, rocking her back and forth as she cried. "I-I'm-sorry." She said between sobs, and I gently kissed the top her head. "Whta do you mean your sorry? What are you sorry for?"
"I'm-sorry. I'm-nothing-but-a-pain-in-the-ass."
"No your not, your anything but that. Your amazing, beautiful, and perfect, and you have nothing to be srry about."
"Really?"
"Really." I said, kissing her. She smiled, and I gently wiped her tears away with my thumb.

Hailey was sitting up in bed, smiling, eating some food. I smiled. I loved seeing her like this, all smiles and happy. Yes she was in another bed, yes she was having medication, but she was free, with no one to tell her what was right and what to do anymore. She looked as amazing as she was, and I was looking forward to the next operation. It had been a week since the last operation, and she was due for the second one tomorrow. She was scared about it, but she knew that I was going to be in there with her, keeping her company. "You sure you want me to go in there with you tommorrow? If it makes you feel uncomfortable I wont go in there."
"No Andy. I want you in there, I'll be more relaxed in if your there."
"Your sure?"
"Yes."
"Ok then baby." I said, and she smiled, taking my hand. I couldent wait for the minute she could see me, when we could both see eachother in the same light, and that she could see how much she meant to me, and how much I loved her. I smiled, and kissed her hand. "I'm excited that I'll be able to see, that I'll be able to see you." She said, and I smiled. "I know, I'm looking forward to it too, I want us to be able to see eachother."
"I really want it to hurry up and happen so I can see. It's all I've ever wanted."
"I know it is, and i'm glad it's going to happen." I said, kissing her lightly. The doctor walked in, and we both turned towards him, "There is someone here to see Hailey." He said, and I nodded,thinking it was Susan.

I heard heels click on the floor, and I saw someone stand in the doorway, someone I didn't want to see. "Well then...heres the little run away.." Her auntie said, and I felt her stiffen beside me. "Auntie..." She whispered, looking down, and letting go of my hand. She shut the door, and walked over to us. "How dare you run away! How dare you think you can get away with this!" She hissed, and Hailey wimpered. "And how dare you talk to her like that." I said, looking at her. She stared at me, and stepped back, not used to being talked back too. "Don't talk to me like that, I could get you arrested, you broke into the house-"
"You call that a house? I call it a prison, and Hailey was your prisinor! You can't say that you can arrest me because I'm sure that I could get you arrested for locking her up! You took everything from her!" I said, getting up, and standing in front of Hailey, who was cowering behind me.

I hated seeing her like that, helpless and scared. I has always wanted to say what I felt like to her auntie, and now was my chance. "I saved her."
"From what?! Theres nothing out there that could hurt her! The thing you should of saved her from is yourself!"
"I tried my hardest! She would of been bulied and unhappy-"
"Everyone gets bullied but she would have people who would help her! You don't seem to understand that keeping her locked up made her more vunrable, and she wouldent be able to cope!"
"She wouldent be able to cope anyhow!"
"Yes she would! She's the strongest person I've ever met, and I love her! I can show her things that she has never seen before! You kept her cooped up! You did this to her!"
"Well If i'm that bad then why didn't she run earlier?!"
"Because she was scared to! Scared of what you would do! She would have no where to go, and I'm sure that she wanted to but you brainwashed her, and made her scared!"
"Fine! I don't need her or you! Fuck you both! Hope your fucking happy!"

She screamed, heading out the door, and slamming it hard. I turned to Hailey,and I saw that she was crying. "Hey...baby don't cry she's gone and she's not coming back." I said, hugging and kissing her. I wasn't ever going to let anyone hurt her. Nothing was going to happen to her, not if I had anything to do with it...
