I gently stroked the back of Haileys hand as she lay there, sleeping. She had fallen asleep about 10 minutes after we left the operation theatre, and I held her hand lightly. She looked so peaceful when she was asleep, and I was looking forward to taking her home, and us begining our lives together. I was so happy that I free'd her, that she meant the world to me. She gently stired, and I looked at her, making sure she was ok. "Andy..."
"Yeah sweetie, I'm here." I said, kissing the back of her hand.

"Andy...Andy my eyes are hurting." She sniffed, and I could sence that she was going to cry. "Awww baby, listen to me. It's going to hurt but it'll die down later, and it will make you see. It won't last long sweetie." I said, sitting on the edge of the bed, and pulling her into my arms. She gently wiped away some tears, and nuzzled into my chest. I smiled, and rocked her back and forth, while gently humming a song. "Sorry about this." She said, and I stopped humming. "Darling you have nothing to be sorry for. Theres nothing wrong in crying. It's better to get it all out." I said, and she giggled, slightly, turning her head up so she was facing me. "Andy....thank you."
"What do you mean?"
"Thank you for everything you've done. Everyone else would of never given me the time of day, but you did. Thank you."
"No problem babe. I'll do anything to help the ones I love, and she smiled, and I saw her cheeks going a slight pink colour. It wasn't going to be long now, she was going to be able to see.

HAILEY'S POV

The doctor was beside my bed, and I could hear him clanking about. I sighed, and I heard Andy cough, making me giggle slightly. I was so nervous it was unreal. I was going to be able to see for the first time in my life, and I wanted it to be the best thing in the world, that is, if it worked. There was a small chance that it wouldent, and I knew that if it didn't it would kill me. My eyes were no longer hurting, but it was still unsure wheather it had actually done anything.

"Right then Hailey, can you just close your eyes for me please while I take off the cotton wool. Just so none of it goes in your eye." He said, and I nodded, shutting my eyes. I felt the doctor gently peeling away the medical tape, and pulling off the cotton wool. I felt hin wipe a towel with some liquid over my eyes, then I heard him step back. "Now then, Hailey you can open them now." He said, and I took in a deep breath before opening my eyes. The light hit my eyes, and I squinted, blinking like crazy. After a few minutes of blinking like crazy, my eyes focused, and I looked out over the room. The bed sheets were bright white, matching the bright white walls. There were trays of medicen and clip boards everywhere, and one plastic chair beside the bed. I saw the Doctor standing there in a white coat, and dark brown hair, smiling at me.

I looked back across the room, and my eyes met with the most amazing pair of bright blue eyes ever. I studied his face, the smooth cheeks, the sculpted lips with a metal lip ring around his bottom one. His hair, was long and black, and extreamly straight. I smiled, and he smiled at me. "How...how do you feel?" He asked, biting his bottom lip, making him look even more sexy if that was possible. "I feel...AMAZING!" I yelped, jumping up and jumping on Andy. He chuckled, and held me up, nuzzling into my neck. I grinned, and gently kissed him. "So I'm guessing you like what you see?"
"How could I not?" I said, and he chuckled, placing me back down on the floor. I walked over to the doctor, and gently hugged him. "Thank you."
"No problem, I'm glad to have helped. Now you have two options. You can stay in here for a week and we can study you a little longer, or you can go home, and come back in a week for a checkup?" He said, and I looked at Andy. "Were going home." Andy said, and I smiled. I was going home, with the person who saved my life...
