Catching Up and The Show
"Andy!" she jumped.
I was speechless. I couldn't stop looking at her. She hadn't really changed, and for that I was thankful.
"It is really fucking good to see you again, Kiara" I kept smiling and Kiara smiled brightly, she seemed really happy to see me again. And that filled my heart with more joy than anything else ever could.
"Aw, Andy. It's really great to see you too!" she exclaimed. "Are you here for another show?" she asked.
"Yeah, we're doing this show and another one somewhere else in Pennsylvania" I answered. "But how have you been?" I asked her.
"Oh, I've been alright. School and work, basically. I lead a very boring life" she giggled and I laughed with her.
"Well that sounds like a whole bunch of fun" I said sarcastically.
She glared. "Oh yes. Very fun" sarcasm was apparently one of her specialties.There was silence then, and I looked at my phone. I needed to get back to the venue; the show was going to start in ten minutes.
"I hate to cut this short, but..." I trailed off.
"You have to go do your show" she finished. I frowned, but then I lightened up. I was about to do something risky.
"Come with me" I asked.
She gasped slightly, and then smiled real wide. "I'd love to!" she squealed.
Well that went better than I had expected. I took Kiara's hand, squeezed tight, and led her to the venue. It wasn't that far away, considering I hadn't gotten far when I, again, bumped into Kiara. The whole time I was holding her hand, it felt right and her smile never left her face. I was the happiest guy in that single moment. We walked into the building, and I brought her upstairs to the dressing rooms. When I walked in, holding Kiara's hand, all the guys started hollering.
"Hey, shut the fuck up. You all remember Kiara, right?" I asked everyone.
"How could we forget? You talked about her enough" CC spoke up and I could just feel Kiara blushing and I was definitely embarrassed. "But anyway, Hey Kiara, I'm CC" he held out his hand to shake Kiara's.
"Pleasure" she smiled.
Jake was next. "Hi Kiara, it's nice to meet you; Jake".
"Hello" she said.
Then Jinxx. "Kiara, I've heard a lot about you. I'm Jinxx" he took Kiara's other hand to kiss it. Jinxx was always the romantic.
"Aw, Hi Jinxx" she giggled.
Ashley walked up to her last, and hugged her. "Thank you" he said. Kiara looked puzzled.
"For what, exactly"?
"For venturing out today and bumping into Andy again. He really needed this" he explained. "And oh, I'm Ashley. It's a pleasure to meet you, Kiara".
Kiara blushed and said "Thank you, Ashley. It's nice to meet you too".
"Okay, now that you guys are done embarrassing me... We have a show to get ready for" I turned to Kiara. "Follow my tour manager here, and he'll lead you backstage where you can watch the show" I smiled.
Kiara leaned up and kissed me on the cheek. "Thank you, Andy. I appreciate all of this" she looked at everyone else. "It was nice to meet you all. Good luck out there" she smiled and John led her out of the room.
