Almost Unbreakable

Daisy's eyes closed in pain as she laid on the hospital bed. The doctor had gone out for a few minutes but Daisy was moving along nicely. Apparently, she wouldn't be able to push for a while though.

"I hate you so much right now." She muttered, squeezing my hand as assumably another contraction went on. She squealed and rested her head on my shoulder. "...This..sucks.." She panted.

"I know, it's okay." I said, rubbing her knuckles.

"You need to call your parents." She said. "I'll be fine." I sighed and kissed her head quickly before standing up. I dialed my moms number as fast as I could.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom." I said, biting my lip ring.

"Oh hun, aren't you in Germany? Why are you calling?" She asked.

"Uh I wouldn't be calling if it wasn't really important." I chuckled, "Daisy is in labor."

"What!? Chris!" I heard her scream and I kaughed. "How long has she been in labor?"

"A couple hours." I said, "Sorry I haven't called."

"I bet you are! Where are you?" She asked.

"We're in Berlin. At the Charite hospital or something." I said.

"We're coming." My mom said.

"Ah mom, it's alright." I ruffled my hair, "It's gonna be expensive."

"I don't care, I want to be there when that baby is born." She said.

"Alright well, I guess I'll see you then." I said, smiling. I missed my parents and I hated they couldn't be here. "Daisy will be so excited."

"Well go be with her. Can't wait to see you, love you." She said.

"Love you too." I said, pressing end. I walked back in the room to see Daisy with her head in her hands. I sat next to her and rubbed her shoulder. "I bet I have something to cheer you up?" She peeked up at me and smirked.

"What?" She asked.

"My parents are coming to see Carthan." I smiled. She grinned and threw her arms around me.

"That's great." She said, weakly. "I love you."

"I love you too."
