Almost Unbreakable

Air Be Calm

I let a happy sigh out as I felt the bus stop and park in the back of the first venue. After a long day of traveling yesterday and an even longer night since Daisy felt so sick we finally made it to Oregon for the first show of the tour.

I watched as all the guys walked off the bus followed by John. Daisy was asleep in my lap so I leaned down and brushed her hair out of her face.

"Hey D, we're at the venue." I said, softly. I placed my hand on her stomach and rubbed her tummy. "Baby.."

"Hmm?" She said, not opening her eyes.

"We're at the venue." I said.

"Okay." She said, finally opening her eyes. They were dull and her skin was pale. I knew she was really tired.

"You alright, honey?" I asked, still rubbing her stomach.

"Mhm." She said, and I felt a small kick under my hand.

"Baby's kicking." I grinned, and she smiled up at me. She seemed to be coming to terms with this pregnancy and I was grateful.

Usually it was the husband who was worried about a baby but not in our relationship. I just wanted to see the little bugger.

"It's been kicking all day." She laughed, "Keeps waking me up."

"Awh." I said, feeling it kick again. I leaned down and kissed her stomach quickly. "I want to know the gender."

"Me too." She agreed. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and looked at it. It was from John saying he needed me for sound check.

"You feel up to watching sound check?" I asked, and she nodded. She sat up and I followed her. I wrapped my arm around her stomach and took her other hand to help her down the steps. We walked in the side door of the fairly big club and saw all the other bands walking around in the audience.

On this tour there were only four bands. Us, Motionless In White, New Years Day, and William Control. We were the headliners which was pretty cool.

I lead Daisy to the bar area, where she could sit down and watch. "I can walk you know." She laughed.

"I'm not risking anything about our baby or you." I saw John wave me over and I placed my lips to Daisy's forehead, before running to the stage. I hopped on and grabbed my in-ear. Our sound and light guy, Aaron, was in the booth.

"Okay, Andy." I heard in my ear, "Check your mic."

"Check, check." I said in the mic.

"Now sing something." I sang a part of I Would Die For You. On this tour we were singing a lot of stuff from the new album since it comes out during the tour. Of course In The End since it was already out but also a few others. "Alright, your good." I nodded and took the in-ear out. Ash came up next to check his bass and headset.

I walked led back to Daisy, seeing she was talking to a guy with black hair, tatted skin, and a tall frame. I smiled seeing it was Chris Motionless.

"Hey babe. Ya sounded good." She smiled and I wrapped my arm around her waist and rested my other hand on her stomach.

"Thanks, Hun." I said, kissing her temple. "Mr. Motionless, good to see you." I chuckled, shaking his hand.

"You too, Biersack. Your wife is so nice." He winked and I tightened my arm around her. She quickly looked up at me.

"Be careful..." She whispered and I loosened a bit.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"ANDREW!" A girl with half red and half black hair ran up to us. Ashley Costello, singer of New Years Day.

"Hey Ash." I laughed.

"Is this your wife?" She grinned.

"Mhm.." I said, rubbing her tummy again. "Daisy Biersack."

"Oh and a little one on the way I see!" She exclaimed.

"Yep!" Daisy smiled.

"Know the gender?" She asked.

"Not yet." I chuckled.

"Felt it kick?"

"It's kicking right now." Daisy said. "Want to feel?"

"Can I?" Ash gushed, and Daisy nodded. She put her hand to Daisy's stomach, next to mine and I chuckled as the baby kicked hard.

"It likes you, Ash." I said.

"I have the magic touch!" She laughed. "What are you guys thinking for names!?"

"Emmy for a girl and Carthan for a boy." I said.

"Oh wow! Beautiful!" Ash smiled.

"I'd be scared shitless if that was my baby." Chris shook his head, taking a sip of beer. Daisy's face contorted to a frown in seconds. I sighed and kissed her cheek.

"It's alright." I whispered in her ear. She nodded and smiled, softly.

"Well I'm sure the baby is going to be beautiful!" Ash said, "I mean look at you two!"

"Awh thanks." Daisy smiled.

"No problem."
