Almost Unbreakable

"Alright Daisy, that looks great! Yes now show off that bracelet! Beautiful! Okay make sure they see the back of the jacket." The Peta2 photographer, Darren, shouted at me. I was doing my first photo shoot with them and the theme was defending animal rights. I had on a vegan leather jacket and on that back it said 100 percent vegan in white spray paint. My makeup was done with natural, cruelty free brands, and I had on tons of wrist bands, supporting them.

Andy was in the studio so he couldn't be here but I didn't have a problem with it. This was my job now and I couldn't be happier. Along with the book I was almost finished with, of course. I heard the door open but didn't glance since I was still modeling.

"My god your a sexy vegan!" Said someone from the back. My eyes widened as I saw Andy standing back there.

"What are you doing here!?" I exclaimed, still posing.

"Got off early at the studio." He chuckled.

"Daisy flip your hair!" The photographer asked. I did and made a smirk at the camera afterwards. "Yes!" He shouted. "Okay, you can take a break but we need you here in a few minutes to film your support video."

"Okay." I smiled, walking over to Andy. He picked me up and spun me around before pecking my lips.

"You look beautiful." He whispered.

"Why thank you." I smiled. He winked and kissed my forehead.

"Andy we'd love to do a photo shoot with you and Daisy sometime." Darren said.

"Oh I'm not a vegan. Far from it actually, I wear a lot of leather." Andy said biting his lip ring.

"Never too late to change that." Darren shrugged.

"Yeah, but this is Daisy's thing. It would be cool but fake because I certaintly eat meat and stuff. I don't think I could stop. Plus I smoke so.." Andy shook his head.

"Ah alright. Well if you guys ever decide to become vegan let us know. It would be cool to have a band support us." Darren smiled. "Ready Daisy?"

I sighed, not a very long break.. "Sure." I pulled out of Andy's grasp and sat down in the chair they had placed in the middle of the white back drop.

"Okay, you know what to say in the beginning and then were gonna ask you some question which we'll cut together to make it seem like it's not an interview." Darren said. "And go."

"Hey Peta2 viewers, my name is Daisy Jenkins. Writer, model and dedicated vegan." I said, smiling widely.

"Why are you such a big supporter of Peta2?" Darren asked.

"I'm a supporter of Peta2 because it's a unique way to show people that animals are not ours to eat, wear, or test on. My whole life I've had these ideals and I'm excited I'm able to support something as amazing as this cause." I replied.

"What are some changes people can make to become like you?" Darren said.

"Some people think it's really hard to be a vegan but if you just eliminate the products out of your life one step at a time, it's actually pretty simple. For example tons of drugstore makeup brands don't test on animals so go for those brands instead of the ones that do. Peta2 offers an awesome booklet telling you which are good and which are bad so pick that up and even keep it in your purse. It makes shopping way easier." I winked. The rest of the video went the same, him asking questions and me answering. I could see Andy in the back with his mouth open in awe.

"Alright that's a wrap. Thanks Daisy, we'll edit it and it should be up within the week." Darren smiled.

"Thank you!" I said running back to Andy. He pulled me in his arms.

"Wow." He chuckled, and I laughed. "Your amazing."

"Eh I just know my stuff." I grinned. He stuck his tongue out at me and we walked back to my dressing room hand in hand.
