Almost Unbreakable

"Hey Ms. Simms this is John Feldman." John said, putting the phone on speaker.

"Oh hey, what's up?" Juliet said. Andy was sitting next to me his hand in mine. He was shaking and for the life of me I couldn't understand why.

"We were just wondering..." John went on to tell Juliet everything, even about how they were bringing Roberta Freeman in and seeing who would do the part better.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked Andy softly. He glanced down at me and ran a hand through his newly shortened hair. He cut off the long strand that made it look like a Mohawk.

"I don't know me and her, well.." Andy shook his head and leaned back, "Daisy, if I tell you something will you promise not to be mad?"

"Uhm that depends on what your going to tell me." I bit my lip. John had taken the phone off of the speaker now and was talking excitedly.

"Well, a year after we broke up, my friends set me up with another girl. It was one date, we never kissed but she was the closest I ever came to a real relationship. But the date was a double date with my buddy and his date was none other than Juliet Simms. It was awful. She was such a bitch and then Warped 2011 she just made fun of me a lot for the way I looked. Said I didn't really belong in the music scene. She found out about you somehow and teased me about it a lot. I don't know." He sighed. I grabbed his hand.

"How could you ever think I'd be mad about that?" I said, running my fingers through his hair.

"I told you I didn't date anyone!" He exclaimed.

"You just went on a date, I don't care. But why would you agree to this if you knew she didn't like you?" I asked.

"I don't know she is a good singer." He groaned.

"Well I'll be here the whole time, baby. Don't worry." I placed a kiss on his cheek.

"I know you will." He smiled, pulling me on his lap.

"Alright thank you!" John said, happily. "She's coming right now."

"What!?" Andy and I said at the same time.

"She's like ten minutes away so she's coming to look at the material." John said. Andy threw his head in his hands. I hugged my arms around his waist and pulled him so he stood up with me.

"Be right back John." I called over my shoulder. I walked him out of the room and he sighed. He squeezed me tight against his body and leaned back on the wall behind us. "What did she say, about us I mean?"

"That I'm an idiot for waiting for something that wasn't going to happen." He said. I closed my eyes tight and buried my face in his chest.

"It's going to be fine, okay? She'll sing the song, it'll be great and then it's over." I kissed his neck and we lapsed into a silence.

I was was starting to get nervous. Andy was my rock, when he's scared, I know I'll be.

Don't get me wrong guys! I adore Juliet Simms but I needed a little drama and she's the best I could come up with for this part of the series.

Oh and yes. I did mean series. Do with that what you will. *Grins devilishly*
