The Past was a Lie and the Future's a Bitch

Zaria's P.O.V Date: December 14

Today was suppose to be the quort date but for some unknown reason it got postponed. So, instead of doing that I got to stay at home because Andy all ready called me off. Now thats what I call a score. I called Kyle and saw if he wanted to hang out sense he has the best grades in the school and would be graduating this year if it weren't for that fact that he has a class to take that is only aloud for seniors. He told me he would and that he would also bring Kay sense she was planning on skipping anyway so she would have a few hours to study for a test.

Kay was always told that she wouldn't make it through highschool and that everyone was sure that she would drop out. She is always working hard to keep her grades at least at a C average sense she is not the smartest person. She has trouble with everything but art and P.E. Kyle helps her the best he can but she normally refuses it because she wants to do it herself and prove everyone wrong.

I told Andy and CC that I was going to have them over and they don't come close to approving until I remind them on how many times they probably skipped during school to do much wrose things then just hang out with a friend and they shut up pretty quickly. I had Andy move me to the small living room area we had in our motel room. The motel room wasn't that bad actually and I was surpised on how big it was. It had two rooms, a kitchen and living room area made into one, and a bathroom. So, it was actually a motel apartment but whatever.

I turned on the T.V and flipped through the channels till I found Spongebob, yea I like Spongebob judge me as you will, I don't give a fuck either way around it. I got through a whole episode before Kyle and Kay showed up.

"Fuck yes, you already have Spongebob," Kyle said happily. "I love you and you are a beautiful human being." He kissed me on the cheek which made me smile. This was the episode were Mr. Krabs lost Spongebob in a poker game against Plankton and Spongebob has to go and work for him.

Kyle and I have a weird relationship to put it bluntly. He and I are best friends but we both used each other as a cover story because both of our parents were starting to think that we were gay. And we are or atleast I'm like 75% and he's 100% but anyway we were both raised to believe that it was wrong and that no human on this earth should ever be that way, or for me it was my grandma and mom that did it my dad didn't give two shits because I was still me either way. So, we used each other to keep them from thinking that. We even went to great links and made his family think that we had sex but we actually didn't. Soon we both tired of it though and we agreed that we would both come out to our families. Sense then we've been the best of friends and I am going to miss the fuck out of him.

"Hey scoot your fat ass over," I heard Kay shout at Kyle.

"I don't feel like it," he said the same time Spongebob did which caused me to start laughing. They both looked at me like I was crazy but I didn't care it was funny.

"Fine I'll sit on the floor." Kay finally gave up.

We sat like that for a while but soon Spongebob ended and nothing good was on afterwards. Andy and CC came into the kitchen/living room and started to talk to us.

CC's P.O.V

Andy and I went to the kitchen/living room area and saw that Zaria's friends finally showed up. We sat down with them and started to talk. I noticed how Zaria kept leaning on Kyle and he would always pet her hair or kiss her forehead.

"Are you two dating," I hear myself blurt out.

I hear Kay give out a snort as Kyle and Zaria laughed their asses off.

"Yes we are, aren't we Zaria baby," Kyle said in a voice that you would use if you were talking to a three year old.

"Yes we Kylie-poo," Zaria said in the say voice as they made kissy face at each other.

All three of them erupted with laughter as Andy and I sat there dumb founded.

"Hey don't call me that," Kyle chocked out. "I may act like a girl but I am sure as hell am not one."

After Zaria calmed down enough to speak she said, "To give you an actual answer, no we are not a couple, we're just best friends. And plus he's gay and I'm more interested in females myself."

"They did date though," Kay pops in.

"We do not speak of those evil times," both Zaria and Kyle said at the same time.

"You were right Alex," Andy spoke up. "They do have me wanting to run for the hills."

"So she gave you the same speech she gave me about her friends," I ask Andy and he shakes his head yes.

We sit there watching Zaria and her friends joke around for a while but I soon feel my stomach growling.

"Andyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy," I whined. He looked over my way knowing I wanted something. "I'm hungryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy."

Andy gave me a death glare. "It's your turn to go and buy food so, don't complain to me about it. Plus Juliet is about to get home from the doctor and we're suppose to face chat sense I haven't seen her sense we sat out for the Europe tour. I want to see how she's doing."

"Ohhh, you mean wi...."

That's all I could get out before Andy had his hand over my mouth telling me that if I didn't shut it I'd regret it. Everyone gave us a weird look and I can see why, Andy and Juliet hasn't told anyone besides the band and both their parents.

He took his hand off and said, "Yes with that now if you tell them anything I will hurt you." With that Andy left to go to the room that he and I switch off with the living room every night.

"What the hell was that about," Kyle yelled. "And we'll go get the food but it will probably be McDonald's if we do."

"Ok, I'm perfectly fine with that you'll just have to go and ask Andy what he wants," I replied skipping the first thing he said. "And I'll carry Zaria out if she's going with."

"I got it but thanks though," he said as he went to ask Andy.

I went and got some clothing and went to the bathroom. When I got there I looked in the mirror and saw my hair was getting really long and gross. I could at least fix one of those things with my shower. I turned on the water and started to undress. I hoped in the shower and realized that I forgot to grab a towel from my suitcase as well.

"I really hope they left already," I thought out loud.

I quickly ran to the living room and got a towel and ran back. I don't know why I'm worried about people seeing me naked, I normally run around our tour bus naked but then again I am normally drunk or I just woke up when that happens. All well lets just get a shower and hopefully when I get out food will be here.

I let the hot water run down my body relaxing my muscle and washing away the filth of the past couple days. Thanks to touring so much, I'm used to only shower every couple of days. I reach for the shampoo and rub it in my hair. Just as about to reach for the body wash as picture of Zaria flashes in my mind and I start to want her to be here with me, helping me clean myself while I clean her. I smile at the picture that comes along with the thought.

Wait what am I thinking, she's 16 dammit I can't be thinking of her like that. Plus she already said she prefers girls over guys anyway so my chances of over getting with her when she's older are very slim.

"Ahhhh, why does shit have to be so difficult," I yell to myself.

I give myself a mental shake and quickly finish my shower. I got out and dried myself. I put on my clothing and left the bathroom to see that they brought back food but was short someone.
I keep my gaze from Zaria and ask, "Where's Kay at?"

"Her parents were at McDonald's as well," Zaria answered as she took a bite of her chicken bacon ranch. "And they yelled at her for ditching and took her home."

I nod my head and walked to get Andy. I knock on the door and he's quick to answer.

"Foods here," I say to him hoping he doesn't sense my change in liking toward Zaria.

"Oh ok," Andy says as he looks at his phone. "Sorry Dragonfly, but foods here and I'm going to eat and call back ok."

"Hey Juliet," I yell.

"Hey CC," she chuckled. "And it's ok, I understand, I'll get something to eat as well."

"Be careful, ok," Andy said sternfully not wanting Juliet to overwork herself.

She nodded and got offline. Andy and I headed toward the living room so we could eat.

"Wasn't there another one of you," Andy asks.

"Yea but she got busted by her parents," Kyle explained it this time.

I grab Andy's and hand it to him. I got mine and sat on the floor. I looked over at Zaria and saw that she got a frape and was dipping her fries into it.

She saw me starring and said, "What, it's amazing you should try it." She handed me it totally mistaking my reasoning for starring at her but I tried it anyway. I got to emit it was pretty good. "See I'm not as crazy as you think."

"Well your not as crazy as the girl in front of us at least," Kyle sighs.

"That girl was totally off the deep end," Zaria agreed. "I mean, who goes to McDonald's and gets a salad. That's like going up to a hooker and paying her to give you a hug."

I laugh as Andy shakes his head. We finish our lunch with small talk and me trying to avoid looking at Zaria. When Kyle got done with his he picked Zaria up, sat in her spot, and put her on his lap. She protested at first but she soon gave up. Andy got up from his spot on the couch and stretched.

"I don't know about you CC but I could use a beer," Andy said mid stretch.

When he mentioned beer I saw Zaria wince and her eyes grew wide. Kyle started to comfort her but she just crawled into his chest and started to shake. He picked her up and carried her to her room. He stayed in there for awhile, as Andy and I shared a couple confused looks and worried glances. He came back out after a few minutes.

He sighed heavily and looked at Andy. "She has a huge problem with alcohol, especially beer, even if it's just mentioned in conversation. Normally she hides it but I guess being away from it for so long has caused something."

"Why does she have a problem," Andy asks with concern filling his voice.

Kyle sighs again and shakes his head. "It's because of her birth mom. She would always get drunk and yell at her or beat her and it only happened to Zaria. She would also get drunk and disappear for days. Sometimes when she was shit faced and Zaria was sick or was hurting she would make her drink. She would always say, 'Drink or I'll hit. It'll make you feel better. Shut up and drink it or I'll have one of the boys out there come in here and teach you a lesson.' I always hated her for the way she treated Zaria and she deserves everything that's coming her way. I mean what parent would do that? What parent would basically tell there child that they have to do this or some dudes going to come in here and rape you?"

By the time he finished he was crying and both Andy and I were in shock. All I wanted to do is run to Zaria's room and hug her and tell her everything's going to be ok.

"And just so you know," Kyle sniffled. "Even though her mom said it Zaria never let it happen she would always end up drinking. Sometimes though her mom 'joked' around and said, 'I should let him come in anyway just because you wouldn't listen.' But she would beg her mom and tell her that she would be good and listen. Her mothers a down right bitch and deserves to go to hell. I bet she has a special place down there for her. But the one thing Zaria treasures more than anything after all that happened, is her virginity. She would be damned if someone who she didn't approve of, took it from her."

Andy and I were still shocked and speechless. Who would put there child through that? Yes you were raped and you might hate that child but that gives you no fucking right at all. I really hope she gets locked away for a long time, so Zaria never has to worry about her ever again.

"Anyway," Kyle says as he wipes away his tears. "I made sure she's ok and even though it's terrible timing, I have to go. Just be careful with her and I swear if I ever hear that you treated her like crap instead of the beautiful human being that she is, I will cut off both your dicks, blend them up, and make you eat them. Bye."

I'm still speachless and can barely move. Zaria's been through some shit that most people would be put on medication for but I guess she's good at hiding it. I wonder if I can break her walls and get her to reveal stuff, to get her to open up. Even if I can't I will be damned if I didn't try.
