Sunlight Burns

Viktor's P.O.V.

Kraven, Amelia, and I were awaiting Helena's arrival. Eden and Eric were already here. Soon Helena shows up with Davey, Jinxx, and Michael. I also catch the scent of human blood. Amelia says, "I see you've brought your human pet along." He says, "I have a name it's Christian Coma." That name, there was something familiar about it. The time has come for them to plead their case. I say, "Helena Rose Black you stand accused of consorting and committing acts of fornication with a human. What say you to these allegations?" Helena replies, "I have done nothing wrong. CC is my mate and I have bonded with him. If love is a crime then I'll stand convicted." Kraven says, "That thing in your womb is an abomination. You should be destroyed along with it." Jinxx then steps forward and says, "You may want to read this passage before you make a sentence." Amelia says, "As long as it is vital to your case." Davey smirks and says, "I believe you will be quite surprised by its contents." As I read it I am stunned. We cannot deny an event that was foretold. Helena is innocent after all.

Helena's P.O.V.

Viktor looks back up and says, "Helena you are innocent. You may go." Eden then interrupts and says, "Wait. She broke sacred laws. Helena must be punished." Amelia says, "Their union was foretold by the elders before us. it is out of our hands." Kraven adds, "The council has spoken." Eden bends down pulling a knife from her boot and says, "If you will not punish her I'll do it myself." She lunges toward me and the next thing I know someone pushes me out of the way. I look back to see CC with the knife plunged into his chest on his knees. My heart dropped as I ran over to him and applied pressure to his wound. He says weakly, "H-Helena I don't think I'm gonna make it." I say with tears running down my face, 'Shhhh. Don't talk like that. You have to hold on for me, for the baby." CC replies, "I don't want to leave you."

Davey says, "Helena. There is another option." I say, "You don't have to love. I can make you better. All you have to do is say yes." He says, "Anything to be with you forever." I then bite my wrist and let him drink. When he stops he begins writhing in pain.

Notes

Ooooooooh. What's happening to CC? I am ending this soon. I am writing out the final chapters. Then I will post the sequel to this story. It will be more to do with their kids. Stay tuned lovelies :)
