Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Ivy's POV
We all slept on the floor that night, after we'd eaten dinner. The day had gone well after we all had our massive laugh attack. We slept on the floor because it felt safer that way. We figured that Andy had managed to piss some people off so we wanted to all be together. I slept next to Ashley which was one of the happiest things I've ever done. I fell asleep the instant that I lay down and I woke up to the sound of strangely familiar knocks on our door. You know that state that your in when you first wake up when you don't know what's real and what's not, that's the state that I was in.
All of us were awake I'm sure, but everyone was pretending to still be asleep so that someone else would get up and get the door. Eventually as the nervous tapping continued a very grumpy looking Andy got up to answer the door. He was grumbling something about the people on this island not understanding what sleep meant. I don't know what prompted me to but I sat up to watch him get the door. The light coming in from the windows of the door was too bright for me to look at, but I could see a vaguely head shaped blob blocking out the light, but I couldn't see their face because of the shadow. Andy slowly and stiffly went to open the door, I vaguely noticed that he was shirtless. Maybe whoever was here to wake us up would notice that and decide that since we were all still in bed we could just keep sleeping. Andy pulled the door open. There was a moment of silence where neither of them said anything. Then the one voice I didn't expect to hear on the island came echoing into the entry way.
"You, you kidnapped my daughter. Where is she?" The voice said. My first thought was that I didn't know that Andy made it a habit to kidnap peoples' daughters. Then it hit me.
"Dad?" I exclaimed.

Alright guys I know that this is by far the shortest chapter I have yet to right on this story, but it is all that I have time to do right now, so this is just a thing for you all to ponder a bit and I'd like to see what you think is going to happen, big chapter coming next week.
