Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Ivy's POV
We girls had spent the entire day together in comfy clothes just getting to know each other better. Even though I was significantly younger than everyone in the group they treated me as an equal, which was nice to say the least. Also getting to know Sandra was great. She was a really nice person and I could tell that she was well loved among the group even though they didn't see her much. She was like that cousin who you love but they live across the country so they're never around. I was like that sister hat was lost at birth and just found and was being welcomed into the family. That was how it felt anyway. We eventually got on the topic of when the boys would be getting back. We had no idea, Johnny had never said, and there was no itinerary. We assumed that it would be late, as in almost dark late, and the time was no where near that so we got into deep conversation.
"Ivy, what in the world are we going to do when you have to go back to your dad?" Sammi said. They all frowned and made sounds of disapproval at the subject.
"I don't know. I do know though, that I want to be a permanent part of this pack," I said shrugging.
"You don't think your dad will want you hanging around with us?" Ella said, with a hint of sarcasm.
"Probably not, I mean I was essentially kidnapped," I said looking at the ground.
"Well how long until you're eighteen? After that you can do whatever you want," Sandra said.
"Almost a whole year, and that feels like it's going to be forever," I said.
"You never know, your dad might be understanding of this whole, situation here, and as far as I know we haven't hurt you," Juliet put in with a shrug. Suddenly we heard footsteps up onto the porch. Lauren turned and looked at the clock.
"If that's them they're back earlier than I would expect," she said turning to the door. A second later it opened and the boys came in, all except Andy who stayed on the porch to talk to someone. The boys where crackling with tensity. You could tell that there had been some sort of an argument, it was clear on their faces and in the silence that they brought with them. CC broke the stillness first.
"Well, Andy almost killed someone again," He said an arm around Lauren. Ashley came and stood next to me, the anxiety over him being gone that I didn't even realize that I had went away. I was about to start asking him questions like the rest of the girls where to their guys when the door swung open again and Andy stepped in. There was an obvious halt in conversation. He froze halfway through the door, noticing that all eyes where on him. He took a quick glance around and let out an audible deep breath. His face fell to the floor for a brief second and it looked like he was holding his breath. He unfroze and finished his step in the door, closing it behind him softly. He turned back around and it was still so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. His lips where rolled in and for the first time in the time that I had known him, Andy looked like he had no idea what to say. He held up his hands in the stereotypical pose that said that he didn't know.
"Sorry?" He said, obviously a question as to whether it was the correct thing to say. I felt Ash's head fall forward onto my shoulder. There was another moment of silence, until suddenly Ashley started to laugh. Then everyone looked at him like he was the crazy one, not Andy. I glanced at Andy's face and he looked incredibly confused.
"Dude you should have seen Ian's face when you started yelling, he looked like a bunny surrounded by lions," He said between fits of giggles. Then CC started to chuckle.
"Poor Johnny, man, he's never gonna fully recover from the shock that you just gave him," CC said, his head in his hands, laughter echoing from his chest.
"You guys aren't mad?" Andy said looking around in surprise. There was more silence, except for the sound of CC and Ashley trying to stifle their laughter.
"To be honest I think you showed Jane that we can't be easily messed with," Jinxx said with a grin, "Don't even get me started on what her face looked like, I don't think I can describe it,"
"If you can't describe it maybe you should try to make it," CC suggested. Jinxx obliged and pulled a face where his eyes where opened hugely, and his mouth hung agape in horror. Everyone lost it. I was quickly laughing so hard that I couldn't stand up straight.
"Can you make that face again, I don't think I got a good enough look," Jake said, breathlessly. Jinxx shook his head, blushing slightly. There was a moment when I looked up and Andy was laughing so hard that it wasn't even making any sound, tears where streaming down his face. He was clutching his stomach and doubled over laughing so hard that he was almost on his knees. I knew how he felt. Then it hit me that it was really sad that I had been with them now for an extended period of time and this was the first time that I'd seen Andy really laugh. I hoped that things would get better and I'd end up seeing it much more.
