Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Andy's POV
The werewolves where going to bed while the girls, in groups of two decided to stay up and keep watch. We needed to sleep so that we could be human again when we woke up in the morning so that we could learn what we needed to from our little government friend John. So I crawled into a tent as best I could next to Juliette, while Sammi and Ella kept the first watch. You may be wondering what we did with John. After much discussion and deliberation we decided to duct tape him to a tree. Even though I detected no sense that he was trying to trick us we still decided to play it safe. So we managed to communicate with the girls our plan and while I pinned John to the tree they wrapped him up thoroughly. I'm pretty sure that he wasn't up there tight enough to lose any limbs due to lack of blood flow, but he definitely was not going to be getting down at any time. We decided not to gag the guy just because we didn't want to actually hurt him if he was on our side. Despite my obvious reservations for keeping the girls alone with the guy I soon fell asleep. From what I could get from this guy's emotions he was just relieved that I hadn't gutted him.
******The Next Morning*******
When I woke up I had forgotten the events from the night before. I was back into my human form, lying curled up to Juliette my arm over top of her. I felt contentment warming my heart as I looked at her, glad that she was mine. She woke up when I leaned over to kiss her.
"So what are you going to do about our little friend John out there?" She said as I pulled away. I groaned and leaned my head back, I didn't want to deal with that guy.
"I don't know, maybe untie him and try and figure out if he's lying to us or not," I said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Well, duh, but how are you going to go about talking to him?"
"I think that I'll probably be nice, he seems like a decent person," I said after a moment of thinking.
"That's good, try not to give him more heart attacks than you already have," She replied kissing me again. I stood up and got dressed before heading out to face the day. I was the first one out of the tents and I was greeted by a comical sight. Not only had we taped John to a tree but someone had taped his head to the tree, presumably so that he could sleep without rolling his head around everywhere. I couldn't help but snicker at him as I walked out. His hair and suit where disheveled and he appeared to be soundly asleep. He was a young guy, maybe only a three years older than me, he looked like he'd gotten too drunk at a college party and his friends where trying to make him regret passing out. I considered just cutting through the tape and letting him fall to the ground without waking him up. I decided not to be that much of a jerk.
"Wake up Johnny boy," I said, gently grabbing hold of his chin and shaking it he groaned and tried to get away from me. To no avail as he didn't have a high range of motion.
"Come on brother, I'm trying to do you a favor by waking you up," I said patting his face with my hands. His eyes opened and as he looked around his emotions went from confused, to realization, to more anxiety.
"Hi," I said with a grin.
"Uh, hi," He replied nervously.
"Are you ready to get down from there," I said gesturing to the tape wrapped around him. He swallowed hard.
"Yeah I am,"
"Ok," I replied. I walked over to the fire where I spotted CC's pocket knife lying next to one of the lawn chairs we'd set out there the night before. I picked it up and went back over to John, who was looking at me, horrified.
"I'm not gonna hurt you bro, just stay still for a minute," I said. First I pulled the tape off of his head leaving him to hold it up on his own and a large red mark. I smirked at him, he didn't understand what I was finding so funny. Then I began the process of cutting one by one through the strands of tape. The closer I got to being done the more that John was able to pull and stretch the tape closer to breaking so it was easier for me to cut. When the last bond snapped he slid to the ground gasping in relief. I knelt down next to him and started to pull the tape off of his suit. He watched me closely, trying to figure me out.
"Everything feel okay? Nothing going to fall off from the lack of blood getting to them," I asked.
"My hands and feet are numb but the feeling is coming back slowly," He said, I nodded and walked over to the cooler where I found a bottle of water. I took the cap off for him, assuming that doing that would be hard to do with no feeling in your hands. I handed it to him and he drank it a bit clumsily but gratefully. While he rested I gathered a bunch of cooking supplies and got ready to make breakfast. I watched John as I stirred the fire, he watched me back just as closely. I noticed that he was shivering, probably from shock, and it was quite a chilly morning. I walked back over to him while the fire was getting hot.
"Still numb?"
"My feet, yes," he said, I nodded and put his arm up over my shoulders.
"We're gonna get you warm," I said pulling him to his feet, we staggered over to the fire where I placed him in a chair and he leaned in close to warm his hands. We lapsed into silence as I started cooking, bacon, eggs and pancakes over the fire, I knew that the smells would soon rouse the rest of the pack.
"Sorry about you know, pinning you to the ground and like scaring the life out of you last night," I said, glancing up at him.
"So that was you," He said, I nodded, "Apology accepted man," Silence ruled for another few minutes.
"You really know where Ashley is?"
"Yeah and I can tell you about that, but I kind of want to meet everybody first," John replied, I nodded, made sense to me.
"I do have one question for you, though," John continued, I looked at him waiting while he took a deep breath.
"Do you know where Ivy Peterson might be?" He asked.
"Yes, she's here with us. Don't worry we haven't hurt her, in fact I think you'll find that she's quite happy here," I said.
"You do know that her father wants her back, right?" John said. My blood turned to ice, something told me that I had to bring that girl to Ashley.
"I'll tell you what, we get Ashley back, safe from harm, and you get Ivy back,"
