Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Ivy's POV
I fought and kicked as hard as I could. This made no sense, when did some random guy decide to show up in the cage with the wolf.
"Stop it, I don't want to hurt you," He whisper-yelled, he didn't even sound like he was straining to hold onto me. I clawed at the hand around my waist, and tried to bite the hand over my mouth. I know, ew, but I was desperate. I was holding back tears.
"Ivy, stop it. I just want to talk to you, and I'm the only animal here, quit trying to bite me," he said, with an infuriating hint of amusement in his voice. I'm not sure which hit me first: The fact that he'd referred to himself as an animal, or that he had used my name. Either way I was so shocked that he knew who I was that I stopped struggling.
"Good girl. Now I'll let go of you if you promise not to scream or run," He said calmly. I did all I could do, his grip on my head loosed just enough for me to nod. His hand on my mouth released and his hand on my waist switched to holding my hand. He was making sure I couldn't run. I took a deep breath and turned to face my attacker. My jaw dropped.
"Ashley?!" I said, suddenly I was extremely self aware. I felt self conscious, my hair and clothes were messy and my makeup had smudged from the few tears that had managed to escape during our struggle. As much as I hated to admit it over the few days after our last encounter my mind had been on nothing but him. I'd managed to develop a massive crush on him, pitiful right? Well there he was, locked in a cage in my basement wearing nothing but skinny jeans. Looking quite near perfect, even though his hair was messy and he was covered in dirt. I looked down he was still holding onto my hand. I felt myself blush.
"Oh, sorry," He said dropping my hand. It was hard to tell in the dim light but he might have been blushing as well.
"What are you doing here?" I managed.
"Let's just say that the healing thing I do isn't the only strange thing about me,"
"You're a... you're a...," I couldn't make myself say it.
"Yes, a werewolf. Please don't be scared of me," He said, looking up at me and biting his lip, like he was nervous.
"I'm not scared," I said, but I was. I was also intrigued I wanted to know more about him. And frankly the fact that I had a huge crush on him didn't change, I almost found him hotter now.
"You have to get me out of here. You heard your dad, I only have until morning, then who knows where the government will try and take me. I can't even figure out how to get this dumb collar off," he said. I hadn't noticed until he mentioned it, but the collar had in fact shrunk to fit the size of his human throat. The metal barbs from the collar dug into his skin leaving angry red marks, it looked quite painful. Suddenly there was a loud knock, that sounded like it came from my front door. He inhaled deeply, taking in air through his nose.
"Oh no, they came early. The people who want to take me, they're coming. Hurry find a way to get me out of here," He said his voice rising in octave in his panic. I frantically began flipping switches and pressing buttons, in an attempt to get him out. I heard voices upstairs. My father talking to several men. Most of the switches seemed to do nothing, until I managed to hit the wrong one. I heard a humming sound, then Ashley let out a harsh scream of pain. He fell to the ground helplessly clawing at the collar. I flipped the switch back and he stopped screaming, but his hands still clung loosely to the collar. He was curled up on the ground visibly trembling.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry," I said, I heard footsteps coming towards the basement door, the door open and I knew it was too late. I glanced back at him and he was a wolf again.
Six men in suits paraded down the stairs led by my father.
"Well here he is," My dad boasted. He was to excite to take much notice of me, only a smile from across the room. I noticed two of the men had nooses. Not the kind that you hang people with, the kin that they put around animal's necks to control them. Ashley saw them too and growled. It took a while of reaching through the bars of the cage, and a few electrical shocks, but eventually they got one noose around his neck. My dad hit one button and the collar fell off Ashley's neck with a thud. Then he hit a switch and the door of the cage opened. Ashley lunged out at trying to tear someone's throat out.
The man with the noose held him back. They got another noose and started trying to control him. The corralled him to the basement door that lead outside. He fought long and hard and it took two men on each noose to hold him. My heart was breaking, I knew he had to be in pain. They finally managed to get him out the door. I ran up the stairs and watched out my living room window. I knew there was no hope but I willed him to get away. Finally they managed to force him into a tiny filthy trailer attached to the back of the truck. I wanted to scream, cry and stop them from hurting him, but I couldn't do that without revealing his secret. Something told me that he'd be treated even worse if they knew what he was. The last thing I saw as the doors of the trailer closed were those big brown eyes looking right back at me.

So I just realized how much of a wimp I'm making Ashley look like in this story, oh well. I was like breaking my own heart when I wrote this, did you guys find it sad? Anyway, they got Sandra, and now Ashley. Will any member of BVB be safe? Will even Ivy be safe? You will have to wait to find out. I'm going on vacation this week and I may not be able to update on sunday, but I will if I can. I promise I will be writing a lot though so when I get back you all will get some really great stuff.
