Sink Your Teeth Into Forever

Chapter 11

Sandra's POV
I was done packing in less than half an hour. When I went back out into the living room Jerome helped me with my bags. Meanwhile Braikens was staring at my TV. Seemingly judging my choice of movie. So I unplugged the TV right in front of him.
"Anything else you want to be suspicious of," I snapped glaring at him. I heard Jerome gasp slightly, as if I'd just disrespected someone who I should not disrespect.
"No," Braikens growled back. He grabbed me roughly by the arm and pulled me out the front door of my apartment. My first instinct was to fight him, but then I decided against it. I pulled just enough to turn around and see Jerome struggling out my front door with his hands full of my bags. I felt bad for him.I had packed so much that he had to pull the door shut with his foot. Braikens pulled me along behind him all the way down my hallway and out the front door of my complex. Waiting outside was a black SUV with government licence plates. I thought that that added to the fact that they probably weren't just creepy men trying to kidnap semi-famous drummers. Braikens shoved me in the back. Not at all gently, might I add. I heard Jerome loading my things in the back. Braikens got in the driver's seat and started the car, Jerome was climbed in the passenger's side and we were gone. We drove for over an hour before I started drifting to sleep. I know what you're thinking, how could I fall asleep in a car with two government officials who wanted to question me about my friends. Hey, this was only a few days after tour ended and I was still worn out from our impossible tour schedule. It was almost midnight by this point any way.
Then I was being shaken awake by Jerome. He was yelling over a yelling over a loud roaring sound, that I was surprised hadn't woken me before he got the chance.
"Come on Ms. Alvarenga, your things are already on the plane, but we've got to go or it will leave without us," He shouted over what I then realized were roaring engines.
"Plane?" was all I managed to say in my partially awake state.
"Yes, plane," he said pulling me out the car door and onto the airstrip. Sure enough there was a plane that looked ready to take off except that the stairs were still down, waiting for us. He pulled me across the airstrip running. I nearly fell a few times, having just woken up. Soon enough though we got up the stairs and inside the plane, the door closed behind us, and we were already on our way down the runway. Braikens stood in front of us, looking unimpressed, with all of my stuff next to him. I caught my breath and looked around at what was the coolest plane I'd ever seen.
It was like the most awesome tour bus you could imagine. Complete with couches tables, and flat screen TVs. There was a door to another room where Jerome was now lugging my things. I followed him, running ahead to open it for him. He thanked me breathlessly. Sure enough, even more like a tour bus there was a room full of bunks embedded in the walls.
"Choose any one you like, Ms. Alvarenga, no one else is sleeping back here so you can have any one you like," Jerome said. I chose the top bunk, on the left, the middle of three. Jerome put my things under it.
"Need anything else ?" He asked looking at me.
"No. Oh, just one thing: to you I'm Sandra, none of this Ms. Alvarenga stuff, and thank you for being nice," I said.
"Of course Sandra, goodnight," He said with a smile. He left me and I pulled myself into my bunk. I noticed that it had a window, we were already high in the air. My last thought before I fell asleep was about how nice the night sky looked when you're up in it.
Ashley's POV
Do you have any idea how awkward it is to stay in the house of the guy who beat you up, because you're healing, because he beat you so badly? Oh, yeah, and to top it all of his girlfriend, is the one taking care of you. Let's just say that I was glad when Juliette decided that I was well enough to take care of myself and let me go home. That was about three days after the fight, and soon I was standing on my back porch waiting for the sun to go down. I was essentially healed, and I was still a little bit angry at Andy, mostly for embarrassing me. I even knew it was my fault, but I still needed to blow off some steam.
As soon as the sun went down I decided to go for a run in the woods. Not as a human of course, but as a wolf. I don't know how long I'd been running, but the night was cool, I wasn't in any pain, and things were going well. Until I felt a sharp pain in my back leg. Suddenly I was upside down. I struggled for only a few seconds before there was another sharp pain in my neck. I fell unconscious. When I woke up I was in a cage.
