Chapter 10: Youth and Whisky
CC's POV
Jake emerged from the room. Jake was wearing a plain, long sleeved black shirt with the sleeves rolled halfway up his arms, black skinny jeans and black boots. I was struggling to find words to express how handsome he looked. "Wow, you look... Handsome." Was all I was capable of saying. "You look incredibly handsome." He commented, making me blush. "I know that the ride I've got planned, isn't the most stylish." I mumbled feeling horrible. "I'm just happy that you asked me out, if that means taking the bus, then I'll take it, I'll do anything to be with you." Jake replied. I smiled and began to blush. "You got change?" Jake asked. "Yeah for us both, both ways." I answered. Jake grabbed my arm and hooked his around. I escorted him to the bus stop. We had a couple minute wait before the bus arrived. I let Jake go on first and grab two seats, one for each of us, while I asked the bus driver for two adult bus tickets which cost me £3 altogether. I then took a seat next to Jake. We sat stage left, downstairs, up the back, facing the back window of the bus. The bus ride there seemed never ending, we were silent for most of the ride. I was nervous, anxious and curious, nervous because I looked like a piece of shit next to Jake, anxious because I'm with Jake and every time we're together we're unpredictable and curious to see where Jake wants to go for dinner and what movie he chooses. We got off at the last stop on London Road. We politely thanked the driver before getting off the bus and walking through the back of the shelter. We crossed the road and followed the pavement up to the black sculptures of giraffes. Just a metre, or so, away was the Omni Centre. "So, Jake what movie do you want to see?" I asked before we entered the giant glass building. We got upstairs to book tickets. "Trance, at 8:10pm?" He asked. "I'm down with that." I replied swinging my arm round his waist. "I'll pay." I said leaning in for a kiss. There were only a couple people in line. When we got in a girl started to fangirl. "Calm down, we're normal guys going to see a movie that happen to be in a successful band that you like. Treat us like any other customer, please don't bark at us." I pleaded after taking my arm away from Jake. She managed to calm down enough to serve us. "Two tickets to Trance at 8:10pm please." Jake insisted. "Right away Mr Pitts." She said excitedly. "Which seats?" "Back corner please." Jake responded. I looked at him questioning his decision. "£17:60 altogether." She muttered while fangirling. I'd given up on trying to calm her down. I took out my wallet and handed over a twenty. I took the tickets and stuffed them in the back of my wallet. "Thanks." Jake and I said in unison. "Dinner?" I asked while stuffing my wallet in my pocket. "The Filling Station?" Jake asked. "Yeah." I replied really I could care less, I was letting Jake take control. We waited in a very short line. When we were at the front, "A table for two please?" I asked. "Wait... You're Jake Pitts and Christian Coma from Black Veil Brides." The waitress smiled. "We are indeed, Jake and CC from Black Veil Brides. Today can you please stay calm while serving us and treat us as normal customers?" Jake asked politely. "I'll try my best as you are my inspirations to pick up an instrument. Follow me to your table." She demanded. Jake followed her while I trailed behind. "Can I get you drinks?" She asked after laying down our menus. Jake and I sat down. "Can I please have a Coke?" Jake asked. "Can I have this please?" I asked pointing to Carling on the menu. She left after reading over our order of one Coke and one Carling. "CC I'm glad you invited me on this date, I completely forgot that we'd never been on a first date. I love you so much that I'd do anything just to be alone with you. Even fake an illness, that's so fake I get found out by two members of the band." Jake laughed as I blushed a little. "CC, don't be embarrassed, it just shows how much you want to be alone with me, how much you love me, and the extent you will go to, to be sure that you'll be alone with me." Jake brushed my cheek as I began to smile. "Thanks Jake, I love you so much, I was hurt just as much as you, it didn't show as much, but I didn't want anything bad to happen to you. You are my saviour. I'm sorry that I ignored you, I don't know how I could've. It's now impossible, I just want to be with you constantly, I also don't want to be with you all day, everyday because I don't want to dislike you." I could feel myself tearing up, I managed to hold back the flood. Once I'd finished speaking our waitress served us with our drinks. "Can I take your order?" She questioned us. "A pizza to share?" Jake asked. "Pepperoni, stuffed crust?" I questioned. "One stuffed crust, pepperoni pizza to share, twelve inch please?" Jake asked. "Yep I'll bring that over as soon as its ready." She answered. "CC I love you and I only want to be with you, that woman..." I cut Jake off. "That woman is in the past, I don't care about what happened that night, I want to remember our times together, the laughs we've had." I added. "CC, when shall we tell the BVB Army about us?" Jake asked concerned. "Whenever we want, tonight?" I questioned. "Yes, get it off our minds." Jake answered. "To Twitter." I commented. We each took our phones out and went on Twitter. I was still getting tweets asking about Jake and I. I ignored all tweets and wrote:
Tune into my hang w/ channel tonight, Jake and I have an announcement!
So my tweet seemed a bit obvious, so Jake and I spent the rest of dinner coming up with a story. We just brainstormed ideas until we found the right one. After dinner we had about half an hour before the film started, we grabbed popcorn and drinks before standing in line. The line wasn't that long to start off with, but slowly grew with a small period of time. We were let into the screen ten minutes before the film was due to start. When we got into the screen is when Jake and I turned off our mobile phones. Once the film was finished Jake and I decided to go to a bar. There was a bar downstairs that we went to for an hour and forty five minutes. I asked one of the barmaids to call Jake and me a cab. In the back of the cab we were messing about, we had a couple of alcoholic drinks before catching the cab home. We didn't know where we were staying just that it was Cockenzie. We managed to guide him to our living space. It cost me £40 for the cab home. Once we were home, it was time for the announcement.
Jakes POV
CC took me on a lovely date, we rode the bus to the Omni Centre. We grabbed our tickets for Trance and then shared a stuffed crust, pepperoni, twelve inch pizza in The Filling Station. We then watched Trance while eating popcorn. Afterwards we enjoyed a couple of drinks in a bar downstairs. We caught a cab home before we announced our announcement over Hang W/ on CC's channel. We sat on the couch in the lounge. CC filmed with his phone. The five second countdown began. I was extremely nervous but I managed to calm myself down. "Hi everybody, I'm CC, the drummer of Black Veil Brides." CC announced first. "And I'm Jake, the guitarist for Black Veil Brides." My palms started sweating. "We are here to address rumours." CC declared. "For people that are asking, yes we own a zoo in Central Park." "No, in all seriousness, most of you have been asking both of us, if we are dating. Neither of us knew about this photo that is currently circulating the Internet and it's us holding hands." I said still very nervous. "We are dating, we love each other very much, we are still the same people, we just love each other. Please when you see us don't ask about our relationship, we will do a question and answer session where you can ask questions about our relationship, and we will willingly answer." CC announced. I froze and fell silent...

"We are indeed, Jake and CC from Black Veil Brides. Today can you please stay calm while serving us and treat us as normal customers?" Jake asked politely. "I'll try my best as you are my inspirations to pick up an instrument. Follow me to your table." She demanded. Jake followed her while I trailed behind. "Can I get you drinks?" She asked after laying down our menus. Jake and I sat down. "Can I please have a Coke?" Jake asked. "Can I have this please?" I asked pointing to Carling on the menu. Jake brushed my cheek as I began to smile. "Thanks Jake, I love you so much, I was hurt just as much as you, it didn't show as much, but I didn't want anything bad to happen to you. You are my saviour. I'm sorry that I ignored you, I don't know how I could've. It's now impossible, I just want to be with you constantly, I also don't want to be with you all day, everyday because I don't want to dislike you." I could feel myself tearing up, I managed to hold back the flood. Once I'd finished speaking our waitress served us with our drinks. "Can I take your order?" She questioned us. "A pizza to share?" Jake asked. "Pepperoni, stuffed crust?" I questioned. "One stuffed crust, pepperoni pizza to share, twelve inch please?" Jake asked. "Yep I'll bring that over as soon as its ready." She answered. "CC I love you and I only want to be with you, that woman..." I cut Jake off. "That woman is in the past, I don't care about what happened that night, I want to remember our times together, the laughs we've had." I added. "CC, when shall we tell the BVB Army about us?" Jake asked concerned. "Whenever we want, tonight?" I questioned. "Yes, get it off our minds." Jake answered. "To Twitter." I commented. We each took our phones out and went on Twitter. I was still getting tweets asking about Jake and I. I ignored all tweets and wrote:
