Chapter 11: Resurrect The Sun
CC's POV
"Thanks for tuning in, more details about the Q and A to come." I said farewell. I was worried about Jake, he'd sat in the same position and in silence for about two minutes, usually he sorts his hair or whatever, but he sat still. "Jake. JAKE!" I screamed. He began to move I gave out a sigh of relief. "You alright Jake, you sat still for like two minutes?" I asked very concerned. "Why didn't you consult me on the Q and A, I don't want people knowing about what we do or what we might do?!" He asked and demanded I call off the Q and A. "Jake you can refuse to answer questions." I replied. Jake seemed to be annoyed at me, I guessed that he'd want Ashley and I to share tonight. I sat down and thought about how I should've thought this through and consulted Jake. I felt a bit guilty. I had to lay down in bed. Walking into the bedroom, I threw down my tie, shirt and vest on top of my backpack. Ashley walked in just after me. "Hey, so how was your date?" He asked nudging my arm. "Alright, but I screwed up. I didn't consult Jake on having a Q and A with fans." I snapped throwing myself face first onto the bed. I just climbed into the bed and turned off the bedside light. I fell asleep almost instantly.
Jake's POV
I couldn't take my mind off last night, our little argument. I should've went along with the Q and A, but CC could've consulted me and thought it through, I mean do you really want everybody to know everything about your relationship? I wouldn't, especially not our fans. We have millions of fans that would want to know everything. Anyway, we leave for L.A today, HOME! I can't wait to get to work on my album for CC. I love him, he's not perfect, but loveable, caring, kind hearted, funny, a great cook and a wonderful boyfriend. The band will try and keep us apart on the plane home, me Ashley, Andy and Juliet, Jinxx and Sammi can have CC. We had to collect the remainder of our luggage from the tour bus, our driver decided to drive us to Glasgow airport on the bus while we packed the rest of our things. I decided to drink a cup of coffee, get dressed and then check my bag before waking everybody else up, was a good plan.
Ashley's POV
I slept on the couch because CC took my bed and Jake had his bed. If I had tried to sleep next to either of them I would've been punched or kicked, leaving them alone seemed to be the best option. Jake woke me up by making himself a coffee. I decided that laying around doing nothing wasn't productive, I had a shower and got dressed instead. I'd packed all my luggage bags so I just had to pack the other things off my bunk on the bus. "Ashley if you're ready to leave can you please wake everybody else up, CC, Andy, Juliet, Jinxx and Sammi?" Jake asked me. Jake was the unorganised one, he'd packed his bag but he had quite a lot to put in, his shirt and jeans from last night. I decided to obey Jake's orders and wake everybody else up. First I woke up CC, who just about broke my nose. "CC wake up, we need to leave for L.A." I threw a pillow at him, he threw it back, distracting me and then tried to punch me, he hit the wall instead. "OW!" CC let out a high pitched squeal. "I broke my hand." He defined what he'd done. "Will you be alright if we temporarily wrap it up until we get home?" I asked handing him a piece of cloth. "Yeah, thanks." He winced. I left the room and set off to wake up Andy and Juliet. I poked my head round the door. "Andy, Juliet, we leave today we need you up now please." I demanded nicely. I got a groan from Andy. "We'll be ready." Juliet said slapping Andy. I took out my head and set off for Jinxx and Sammi's room. "Jinxx, Sammi we need to leave for L.A soon get up please." I nicely instructed. "We're awake and we're up." Jinxx taunted. "I wouldn't..." Sammi was cut off by Jinxx. Jinxx stood up from the bed not realising he was naked. "AAAAHHHH OH MY GOD! DUDE NO, PUT PANTS ON!" I screamed running out of the room. CC had decided to relax on the couch. "What?" He looked puzzled. "Jinxx is naked." I answered panting. "Oh." He mumbled looking at the floor. "How's your hand?" I asked concerned. "Better than when I first broke it." He giggled. I sat down next to CC on the couch.
Andy's POV
I heard an argument between CC and Jake, I didn't think it would split them up for at least a night. Anyway, today we head home. I have my beautiful girlfriend, Juliet, to keep me company on the flight. Juliet and I had packed everything except the clothes we were going to wear today. Scotland has been pretty eventful, CC and Jake finally admitting their love for each other, Jake saving CC from being hit by a bus and being hit by a bus himself and now CC's just broke his hand. I'm glad we are all still alive, a bit surprised to tell the truth. At about 9am our tour bus arrived outside the house. CC and Ashley were the first people on the tour bus with their luggage, closely followed by Jake then Juliet and I. We waited for Jinxx, Sammi was packed, Jinxx left it until last minute. Sammi helped Jinxx pack. We vowed that because he held us back, we were going to call him Smelly Bones until we get home.
On the plane Juliet, Ashley, Jake and I sat in first class, we left poor Sammi with Smelly Bones and CC, as if that pairing wasn't crazy enough, the cabin crew allowed CC to have his phone. What has the world come to? I saw some of their Twitter posts, they were weird, others were boring but most of them were weird. Jinxx just seemed to speak about Sammi.
CC's POV
The flight home was boring, uneventful and awkward. I sat next to Jinxx and Sammi, who couldn't keep their mouths apart for more than a few seconds. Luckily I was allowed my phone. I went on Twitter and asked for questions to answer. I specifically said that I wouldn't answer questions about mine and Jake's relationship. It seemed to be a long string of weird. It seemed to be a string of teenage girls asking me to go out with them, I ignored them because they live under a rock, obviously. After a while everybody stopped giving me questions. I quickly became bored and started to annoy Sammi. I became very restless and bored. I decided to tweet randomness and see what replies I got. Most of my replies were either that I'm crazy, weird or mad or "I love you, will you marry me?" Or something along those lines. I decided that Twitter wasn't my way of entertainment, I ended up deep in thought about Jake. I loved him deeply, I never wanted to hurt him. I soon felt myself slowly falling asleep. It felt like a matter of minutes before Jinxx and Sammi were shaking me and shouting at me, trying to wake me up. I slowly opened my eyes to see a blur of faces. "CC, wake up we're in L.A, we're home." Jinxx whispered trying to wake me up. "He's awake, pass me his backpack." Jinxx demanded. I suddenly felt something hard hit me in the stomach, I immediately became fully awake. I followed Jinxx and Sammi out of the side door of the plane. We met up with Andy, Juliet, Ashley and Jake at the bag collection area. We each collected our bags and put them on the cart with everyone else's. I took over the cart from Ashley. I was really active after my nap. I pushed the cart and ran behind it, I soon picked up speed and rode the cart like I was a child. I rode the cart a couple times before Andy scolded me for it. "John coming for us or a cab?" I asked. "John, I think." Jake questioned his answer while he looked at Andy, the know-it-all. Andy was too busy to know what was going on. Andy focused on Juliet. We walked out into the car park. John stood next to Jake's car, he'd also ordered a cab. "CC and I will take the luggage in my car, if two of you wait with the instruments CC can come back for all that, and I'll come back for the two that stay." Jake suggested. Without hesitation I helped Jake load the luggage into the trunk of his car, some had to be put on the backseats. I climbed in the passengers seat, next to Jake, who sat in the drivers seat. We left just minutes after the cab, leaving Jinxx and Sammi with the instruments. We followed the cab to Andy and Juliet's house first. They grabbed their luggage from the backseats and said their farewells. They each gave us hugs before departing. We then followed the cab to Ashley's house. Ashley payed the driver before grabbing his luggage from the trunk. We quickly departed sharing a very quick farewell. Jake then dropped me at my house so I could collect the instruments. "Jake I love you and I will see you at a later date." I kissed his lips before grabbing my backpack from the trunk. I walked towards my yard. "CC!" Jake called. "I love you." He smiled. I smiled back feeling warm and fuzzy. I dropped my backpack in my room and greeted my little pug, Bubbalito. I then grabbed my car keys and locked my front door. I got in my car and drove down the highway, back to the airport. I thought about my plans, my birthday was in a couple of weeks and I'd planned nothing. I had to ask everybody what they were doing that day, I'd do that when I dropped off the instruments.
Jake's POV
I didn't want to hang around for awhile waiting on CC and I didn't want to make Jinxx and Sammi feel awkward by turning up alone and early, they're a couple they should be alone to talk after a very long flight with a very bored and childish CC. Ahh CC, how I love him so much. I'm constantly thinking about him, I love him with all my heart and would love him to be my husband. I think marriage is a step too far right now, I'm going to ask him to move in with me. I'm going to ask him at his surprise party. I decided to go home to drop off my luggage. I needed to ask Jinxx and Sammi about CC's party, before CC got there. I had an idea, I called Jinxx's phone. "Hello?" Jinxx answered. "Jinxx is CC there?" I asked. "No, not yet, how come?" He asked concerned. "Put your phone on speaker." I demanded. I heard a button being pushed. "Sammi?" I shouted. "Yeah Jake." She replied. "I'm planning a surprise party for CC, I want everybody to invite people, everybody in the band knows except CC, even John knows. At the party I'm going to ask CC to..." I was cut off by Sammi, who seemed a little excited. "You're going to propose, oh Jake." "No, I'm going to ask CC to move in with me." I explained. "CC's coming, we'll see you in a little bit." Jinxx said goodbye before hanging up. I turned around and headed for the airport.
CC's POV
Everybody seems to have plans for April 21st. Looks like I'm going to be alone on my birthday. I've asked everybody, maybe they're too tired and hungover to register whether they're doing something on my birthday. I'll ask later. I struggled to stay awake on my round, everybody else at home seemed to have been asleep or going to sleep. I couldn't wait to relax at home, but I wanted Jake to move in with me, but when is the right time to ask and where?...
