My Prophet

My mouth dropped. My insides still hurt, I had the worst headache I've ever had, I just lost a baby I didn't know I had, and now I was being proposed to.

"W-what?" I stuttered. He ran his thumb under my eye and tangled his hand in my hair.

"Will you marry me?" He asked, again.

"Andy, we just lost a child.." I said, my voice shaking.

"I know, Coralie. And I've never felt this much pain in my life. For you, because you could have died, and for that baby. We didn't know the gender, we didn't know what it looked like and we never will. We'll never know if it had you hair or mine or if it had your eyes or mine. Or if it was a perfect blend of us. But I do know that I love you. And that I want to be with you for the rest of my life. So Coralie Johnson, please," He reached in his pocket and pulled out a black box. A sparkling diamond ring, that took my breath away rested inside. Tears started sliding down my face. "Marry me."

"Oh Andy," I threw my arms around him, "Yes!"

"Really!?" He exclaimed.

"Yes a thousand times yes!" I said, kissing his cheek repeatedly. He took my hand and slid the ring on my finger. I marveled at it. The diamond was rather large with smaller diamonds all round it. "It's so beautiful, Andy, thank you."

"I love you Corrie, I'm so glad you're okay." He said.

"I can't believe you're willing to give your fucking blood for me." I shook my head.

"Really, Corrie? You would do it for me!" He said.

"Of course I would." I said, leaning into his side.

"I'll keep that in mind if I ever need transfusion." He chuckled. His face fell and he bit his lip ring. "The fans know."

My eyes widened, "What!? How!?"

"I guess there was one in the lobby or something. There are pictures out of us getting on the ambulance and stuff. Most people are being really supportive but some are just..." He shook his head.

"Dicks." I said, laying my head on his shoulder.

"Basically." He sighed. "I think we should put a video up on the Black Veil Brides Facebook page, and my twitter."

"Okay." I nodded. He took his phone out of his pocket.

"Do you want me to do the talking?" He asked.

"I don't think I can." I said, honestly.

"Alright." He opened up the camera, and pressed record. "Hey guys, it's Andy and Coralie and we have a couple really important things to tell you."

"First, I'm sure a lot of you already know that my girlfriend, Coralie unfortunately had a miscarriage. We had no idea she was pregnant and this is deeply impacting us. I hope you guys can respect us during this horrible time and give us much needed space."

"Coralie lost a lot of her own blood along with the baby's and she has to have a transfusion and luckily we have the same blood type so she will be fine. The last thing we have to tell you is that my beautiful girlfriend Coralie is no longer my girlfriend but she's my fiancé. We appreciate all of your support and love and thank you for all that you've done. Bye guys."

"Bye." I waved smiling smally. He stopped the video and put it up on Twitter and Facebook. We both blew out sighs. "We should probably get some sleep."

"Yeah you're right." He nodded. We both slipped down under the covers and wrapped our arms around each other. I felt his tears stain my skin again and my own started to come on. I was pretty positive that both of us would grieve this lost child for the rest of our lives.
