My Prophet

All My Fault

I sat in a chair next to Coralie's bed, holding her hand. My eyes never left her face. Her eyes were fluttering like she was having a dream. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed.

"Please wake up." I pleaded kissing her hand. "Please, Coralie I need you."

I heard footsteps outside of the room and whispering. I strained my ears to listen.

"I feel bad for him.." A female voice said.

"I know, I don't think she's going to make it." A mans voice said. I felt tears come to my eyes again and fall on Corrie's hand.

"Do you think they knew she was pregnant?" The women said.

"No, it was an early pregnancy. Most of the blood she lost was her own. If she lives she has some damn strong love for that boy." The guy said. The door opened and I didn't look up. Just stared down at Coralie's lips that I yearned to kiss. It was a nurse and the doctor. Both sun kissed from living in Hawaii and the women was gorgeous. Not as beautiful as Coralie though, she was someone Ashley would probably like.

"Hi Mr. Biersack." She said. I closed my eyes.

"Hey." I said, softly.

"Coralie's looks likes she's doing better today." The doctor said. "Her vitals have evened. And she looks less pale. Her only problem is she lost a ton of her own blood along with the babies. She needs more and we don't have a donor here. Andy it looks like the two of you have the same blood type and-"

"I'll do anything I can possibly do to help her." I said finally looking up at them.

"It's gonna be at least two pints. You might feel really bad afterwards-"

"Do I look like I care?" I asked.

"Alright. We'll schedule it soon. Even if she wakes up she'll need it." He said.

"Okay." I nodded and they left the room. Coralie's breathing sped up and I felt frantic wishing they hadn't left. "Corrie? Babe?" Her eyes fluttered behind her lids and suddenly after two days of praying she finally opened her eyes. She didn't say anything she just rolled them over to me. A tear trickled down her cheek and soon she was full on crying. I wrapped my arms around her body and cried with her. My tears stained her shoulder and hers were on my chest. "I love you so much Coralie. This is my fault."

She pulled away from me and looked straight in my eyes, "I swear to god if you ever say that again I will slap you. This was no ones fault."

"They said it was the plane that did it. That the baby couldn't handle the pressure. If we hadn't-"

"No Andy." She pulled me into her chest. "Please stop."

"We could have had a child Corrie!" I stood up and groaned. "That was our baby that died. And we didn't even know you were pregnant!"

"You think I don't know that?" She yelled at me and threw her head in her hands. Her shoulders shook as she sobbed. "I really need you to be strong right now..because I'm not." I bolted to her side and put my arms around her.

"I'm sorry." I whispered. "You're right." The doctor came back in the room, a look of shock on his face.

"Welcome back, Coralie." He said. She glared at him. "I'm glad to see your okay. Unfortunately, you lost a lot of blood. And we need to give you a transfusion."

"O-okay." She said.

"Andy here has offered to give his blood for you." He said. Coralie's mouth dropped.

"Y-you would do that for me?" She looked up at me.

"I love you. I would do anything for you." I said kissing her cheek.

"Thank you." She said hugging me.

"We've scheduled it for tomorrow." The doctor said. I nodded.

"Okay." I said.

"I'll give you two the night alone, alright? Hit that button on your bed if you need anything. I'm so sorry for your loss." He walked out of the room. Corrie leaned back and looked at the wall across from us. I did the same, keeping my arm around her waist.

"What would you have named it?" I asked.

"Blake." She said.

"Boy or girl?" She nodded. "Blake Biersack. I like that."

"Me too." She rested her head on my shoulder, "I never even felt it kick." Tears, for what must have been the hundredth time, fell from my eyes.

"I know." I said, resting my head on her head. I took her hand across her lap. "Coralie?"

"Yeah?" She asked looking up at me.

"Will you marry me?"

I know the feeling. My stories from two years ago on here are just cringe-worthy in my opinion. But I definitely can relate to the your main character already just because of the the dance aspect. Kind of reminds me of my series "The Mortician's Daughter/Lost It All" and "Wretched and Divine/Ohio Is For Lovers" Those two series are dance related which are my favorite types of stories to write
