" Hey guys about time you showed up"

I felt Jake chuckle from next to me towards Andy who stood in the middle of his doorway with a smile.

" Hey man, Sorry showing her around the house took longer than I thought"

Instantly his eyes lit up before he shrugged and laughed towards me as I stood there quite.

" No worries the others just got here not long ago come in."

Soon Andy stepped back allowing me to slowly step into his dark tanned colored hallway behind Jake who trailed in like he owned the place. I

trailed behind my cousin down the small hallway that was lined with different pictures and awards, getting closer to loud voices and laughs that I was guessing was the guys and girls.

Soon the hallway opened up to a decent sized living room with two couches one placed in front of the TV, the other on the right side of it Along with a recliner chair on the opposite side if that, all filled with people.

I caught a glimpse of Ella sitting next to Sammi and Jinxx on the ride couch. CC sat on the other one with his girlfriend Lauren who I've met only once but seemed nice from the small conversations we had.

Ashley who I haven't seen in probably two years was leaning back in the recliner with a beer in his hand watching CC play call of duty.

Jinxx was the first to notice us three walk in causing a smile to spread against his face.

" Hey look who finally showed up!" He declared causing the others to follow his eye gaze on me Andy and Jake.

" Well it's about time." Ella laughed out making me send a small glare her way.

" Sorry I wasn't in a rush to see your face so I decided to take my time." I replied while following my cousin further into the packed room.

My words earned a few laughs to erupt across the room and making Lauren and Ashley stand up.

" not even here 10 minutes and you're causing shit, way to go." Andy chuckled out making me smirk his way as Lauren smiled at me.

" Julia you remember lauren right?"

I nodded at Jakes words sending a quick smile her way. Suddenly she pulled me into a hug making me laugh.

" I guess this whole family loves hugs don't they?" I joked out making her laugh

" good to see you too kid, glad to be back?"

I nodded again as she backed up slightly as Andy slid around her to spot on the couch.

" Oh absolutely, living in Boston is like being trapped in a prison."

My words made Sammi chuckle as Lauren laughed more.

"Can't be that bad." CC countered making me stare down at him.

" I'd rather live in hell than Boston, hell is so much warmer than the below freezing temperatures we get in the winter."

The room erupted in laughter while lauren took a seat back by her boyfriend who shook his head my way

. " Yeah you'll fit right in here." He chuckled out causing me to shrug and look at Jake.

" So I've been told."

Soon Ashley set his beer down and wrapped his arms around my body in a quick hug gesture before pulling away and nodding his head

" Whats going on kid?

" I nodded his wat as Jake moved fully into the room to go and take a seat near his fiancé.

" Nothing must just defrosting." I replied smoothly making him laugh and sit back down.

I looked around the room for a seat and saw Andy move closer to Lauren from his spot on the couch signaling me to sit next to him.

I slowly moved across the room before dropping in the warm brown couch as they started to pick up a random conversation.

" So wheres Jess Ashley?" Andy asked making me snap my head at her name.

Ashley chuckled while taking a sip of his beer and shrugged.

" Her and Hunter were going to the mall or something, I tried to get her to come over here with me but you know." As soon as he said that he glanced at me making me realize what he meant and I laughed.

" Is she really scared of me?" I asked him making Sammi smirk as Ashley shrugged.

" It seems like it but don't take it personally." He said making Lauren chuckle.

" Yeah she's just a odd child and gets real shy." She said making me shrug and lean back.

" She's like an exact copy if you. If you guys don't end up becoming best friends theres no hope left in this world." Ella added making the others laugh and nod.

" Oh I can't wait till that happens! We won't need a Tv they can just be our entertainment!" CC exclaimed making Andy's deep chuckle to send shivers down my spine.

I looked up towards his tall figure right as he was looking down at me. He sent me a warm smile making me smile back then move my eyesight anywhere else in the room.

The way he smiled sent a blush to my cheeks but I brushed it away no idea why it had happened. I figured it was just due to being so new to getting really close with them. Sure i've hung out here and there with them but not on this level, this was them actually making their way into my life. Something Jake and Ella promised would help me out in many ways and I was hoping they were right.

." Well if she starts to talk to me then of course." I laughed out making them all smile.

" Trust me she will, even if we have to lock you two in a room it'll happen." Jinxx said making me laugh and nod.

Soon CC turned back to his game, Jake picking up a controller to join him as the others Started to make small talk about random things.

I sat back in the couch thinking that after this day, my whole entire life wad about to change. Yet despite my old thoughts, taking a look around this room made me realize that it was going to be a great change.

"Julia, wake up"

I groaned at the feeling of somebody slowly shaking me awake, why does this always happen?

My eyes slowly popped open as i pulled the blanket away from my eyes to see Jake staring down at me with a small smile.

I groaned before slamming back into the cold pillows making him laugh.

" Well good morning sunshine" he chuckled out making me groan more as he shook me more.

" What do you want?" I mumbled out in annoyance making him laugh more.

"glad to see you are such a morning person. " he joked out before continuing.

" I'm going out with the guys for a while okay? It's 9 now so by like 1 Ella said you and the girls are going to the mall. So just be ready."

His words made me groan louder making him laugh knowing me and Ella shopping was not fun for me and I didn't even want to know how it is with the others along.

"Why, why do you hate me Jake?" I mumbled from under the sheets causing him to laugh more while pulling my blanket off my body.

" Oh you'll be fine, just be good okay? Jess might come so if so behave and please be nice okay?" He asked making me nod groggily in response.

It was too early to do anything but sleep yet I felt kind of relieved that I would finally meet this girl, it's about time.

" Alright I'll let you sleep but wait ."

Soon I lifted my head up to see Jake leaning down and kissing my forehead lightly.

"See you later, be good. I love you."

I waved him off before turning my head back into the pillows.

" love you too." I yawned out closing my eyes once more hearing my cousin laugh at my actions, his footsteps echoing out of his bedroom to the hallway.

Last night around 11 I felt too uncomfortable on that couch so I of course Went into his room.

Jake didn't care and neither did Ella being used to me wanting to lay down next to him when I was younger or if he visited me in Boston. His bed was far more comfortable than the couch too

. Once the door closed shut I let my thoughts slowly fade away, letting my body drift back into a peaceful sleep.

Time always seemed to go by faster when I'm comfortable and in a peaceful state because soon my body jolted awake at the sound of a door closing downstairs.

With my body still wrapped up in Jakes warm comforter I looked over at the small black clock that was placed on the coffee table, sighing at the time.

11:45 Am, my cue to get up.

I pushed the warm blankets off my body and swung my feet over the edge of the bed not wanting to get up but I knew I needed to or else Ella would be up here dragging mw out of bed.

I took little time to get ready throwing on a pair of black skinny jeans. An Asking Alexandria T-shirt and applying a thin line of eyeliner. I straightened my bangs slightly not much interested to do it fully and not even caring.

I grabbed my phone off of The dresser along with my wallet not hearing Ella's voice what so ever, was she even still here? Sighing I slowly pulled open the brown door from the warm bedroom to the brightly lit hallway making me sigh more, all I wanted to do was sleep.

I let out a few yawns heading down the hall and towards the stairs rubbing my cold arms from the sudden small chilly temperature in the house.

Once downstairs I quietly crept out into Jakes living room rubbing my face when I heard somebody cough making me advert my attention to the couch that was a few feet in front of me.

Once I did I found myself staring at a girl around my age staring back at me. She had brown hair with side bangs similar to mine with red skinny jeans and a black Pierce The Veil T-shirt on , Jess.

All this time wanting to meet this kid and here it finally was. And by the way age looked at me I knew I had to start up the conversation.

I shot her a small smile but she remained silent while staring at me with a strange facial expression I couldn't read.

It was as if she was tring to dig deep and figure me out, but i was certain she already knew a lot about me.

" You must be Jess" I said walking over to the wall opposite from the couch and leaning against it as she remained silent still staring at me .

I tried to make her feel at least somewhat safe just being in here with me but I could tell how nervous she was. I may have been nervous too but I knew how to hide it, something I learned over the years.

" I'm Julia..but you already knew that i assume."

Again she remained silent staring at me as I chuckled

. " you know whatever Ella told you is not revolved towards you..im not gonna kill you or something."

She finally gave me a tiny smile before shrugging still staring at me, mostly at my bare wrists. Normally I would've taken slight offense towards it but since I knew her past, it didn't bother me.

"You know Jake never mentioned that ypu were mute." I added lifting a hand to smooth out my hair.

Finally she laughed making me smirk as she shook her head.

" I'm not, im just-"

" Scared of me right?"

Once i said those words her face looked shocked as i smiled.

" you know me and Jake are really close, he tells me everything and i know a lot about you." I commented feeling the tension dim as she shyly smirked at me.

" Figured, i know a lot about you as well from Ash." She said quietly but in a more comfortable tone.

I nodded my head in agreement before staring at her before answering. Looks like we were getting somewhere with this.

" just so you know he did explain to me why you're timid of me and I completely understand just realize I mean no harm, I'm not like those other assholes." I said staring at her making a smile form upon her lips.

"I know you're not" she said making me nod and feel relief fall off my chest.

So far all was good and I needed it to. This person was somebody I needed in my life to help me out and I knew I could probobly help her out too.

"Then I guess we both know something about each other that doesn't need a explanation." I said silently causing her to stare at me weirdly.

I chuckled before pushing off the red wall and over to where she sat on the couch before extending my hand.

" Welcome to the Suicide Club"

Instabtly she froze looking at me still gripping my hand with a mixed emotion face before she broke out into a smirk.

" did you just quote Blood On The Dance Floor?" She asked causing me to laugh slightly before letting go of her hand .

"of course"

" Do you like them?"

I started laughing before shaking my head.

" Fuck no that stage is long gone." I stressed out laughing at her question.

Instantly her face lit up into a big smile causing me to laugh more .

" I think me and you will be good friends." she said causing my to smirk .

"Well I hope so, you know being the new kid and all plus we'll be seeing a lot of each other ."

She nodded a lil before sitting back into the couch as i backed up sitting in the brown leather chair diagonal from the couch .

" you know im not a monster, im not like Will when it comes to that stuff..we both use it for different reasons .

"i said after a few minutes of silence She took a breath in staring at me .

"I know that and despite what my brother has told you I'm not scared of you."

I chuckled sending a small grin her way feeling relieved, Score one for the guys doing that to me making me worry.

"Well that's great to hear, here I am thinking you didn't want to meet me because you were scared"

She laughed and shook her head at me.

"It's not that it's just, how much did Ashley tell you?" She asked as I shrugged thinking.

" well, I know you were taken from your family and jinxx found you on the bridge, I've heard about the will situation and that's pretty much it" i said making her nod and take in a breath.

"okay, so basically you understand that when I was with that family I had nothing and nobody, no friends at all and I just learned to put myself up In a box. So I just get scared to meet people and yeah I guess I was a little nervous because of what you've done but I'm not terrified I mean your jakes cousin, I know you aren't a monster." She said making me nod and lean back.

Those words sent realization through my mind that the way I dealt with my problems wasn't the best. Self harming wasn't either but we still both did it.

I've never cared on how I got viewed by my ways but the way she said that, it made me care now.

"I get that I get that trust me it's stuff I know isn't good but i'm too far in. I'm sorry you've been through a lot but I can relate. but hey here's to friendship right?" I asked leaning closer to her and sticking my hand out again.

She looked at me once more studying me as if questioning it.

Soon she grabbed my hand again making it even more real that here I am three days in and life seemed to have progressed in a good way.

Not to mentionI just met a new great addition to my life.
