They Cant Tell Me What is Right
please let me break this awkward silence
I'd been avoiding anything that even remotely had to do with Andy for the past while since he passed away, so it didnt help that i was watching one of his best friends getting the shit beaten out of him.
Ashley looked away from the guys and we made eye contact. I did it anyway.
"Stay the fuck away from him!" i yelled with all the courage in my body to get out those six words. the guys looked behind them and saw me standing by the brick wall that was masking their attack. the one with blonde hair who appeared to be the leader of the guys laughed.
"oh and what a shame it is that she's not even pretty" he said with a disgusting smirk before punching me to the ground next to Ashley.
"emo fags" one spat before they walked off as a group to god knows where. Ashley looked at me wide-eyed.

i just stared at ashley thoughts of that night flashed over and over in my head as i ignored Andy's voice that i knew i heard.
"you look better than the last time i saw you" Ashley said in an attempt too break the silence.
"that's because the last time you saw me i was covered in my dead best friend's blood" i didnt mean to be so rude it just came, i hadnt tried to avoid the truth so i faced it.
"oh" he said and hung his head low.
"are you okay" i quickly changed the subject from Andy's death.
"yeah, I'm fine" he said as i drop of blood dripped from his face.
"no your bleeding" i said.
"not very much, I'll be fine" he said. i dont know what made me do this on the inside but after the incident i had cried but never this much. i let out a sob and felt Ashley's arm wrap around me as i brought my hands up to my face and cried.
"I miss him too" Ashley said as a tear fell mixing with the blood on his face.
i miss you guys too
now i knew i wasnt crazy because as i heard the words both mine and Ashley's heads snapped up in surprise.
"you heard it too?" i asked he nodded.
